Opening of capital of Esmery Caron

In order to accelerate its development, Esmery Caron, a pioneer and leader in France in textile architecture, tarpaulins and tents, is opening its capital to new private investors and is increasing it by an amount of 425 euros.

Esmery Caron strengthens its equity
Olivier DUFOUR, President and 100% owner of Esmery Caron since 2005, is opening and increasing the capital of his company in order to accelerate its development and build a group of investors and directors with complementary skills.

Following this transaction, four new investors will be investing in Esmery Caron:

• OLD QUARTER, a North American investment company with interests in several companies with strong development potential in North America and Europe, represented by Mr. Eric MARTINEAU-FORTIN, a Canadian investment banker specializing in transatlantic operations.

• Xavier SAUBANAIRE, held the position of Administrative and Financial Director for 20 years in the VIVENDI and AXA groups. An expert in implementing change strategies, he has been Administrative and Financial Director of Esmery Caron since October 2011 and a member of the Management Committee.

• Eric MERLIN, French entrepreneur based in Saigon since 1992 where he developed a diversified group operating in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan and China in the tourism services, hospitality, import and distribution, retail and real estate development industries.

• Philippe BARITEAU, who has been with Esmery Caron for 35 years, is Operational Director in textile architecture and a member of the Management Committee. He has initiated, developed and completed the most important textile architecture projects in France while contributing to the technical and regulatory development of the profession.

Alongside this capital increase, the company Esmery Caron Structures SA and the holding company merged to become Esmery Caron Structures SAS.

Founded in 1897, Esmery Caron, based in Dreux, has developed in the field of technical textiles based on a requirement for quality and reliability which still makes its reputation.

Prestigious references
Among its latest references, Esmery Caron carried out, for the Bouygues group, the under-roof covering of the stands of the Bata stadium in Equatorial Guinea renovated as part of the 2012 African Cup of Nations. The installation of the 15 m000 of micro-perforated canvas was completed in less than 2 months.
Esmery Caron is currently completing the canvas roofing of the new Léo Lagrange stadium in Toulon. Esmery Caron also worked on the stadium in Toulouse, the Auguste Delaune stadium in Reims, and the Zenith stadium in Paris.

At the BATIMAT 2011 trade fair, Esmery Caron presented its new Architex® range of semi-standardized textile architectural works, including Texigreen®, a revolutionary green canvas system for creating interior and exterior green walls and partitions.
