Picard Serrures and Somfy join forces for connected home security

Picard Serrures, a manufacturer of armored doors and high-security locks, is partnering with Somfy, a smart home pioneer, to launch a 100% personalized connected security offering for homes.

The two manufacturers offer 4 connected security packs available on Diamant Sécurité and Diamant Luminance armoured doors equipped with the Parade 2 motorised lock, associated with the GU Controller io-homecontrol® box from Somfy:

• le Remote control pack, which allows you to control the front door and three other home devices (gate, garage door, lighting, etc.) using a 4-channel remote control,
• le Digicode® pack, associated with a wall-mounted code keypad allowing two devices to be controlled,
• le Connexoon pack, associated with the Somfy home automation box and its dedicated mobile application, allows you to lock/unlock the door remotely from a smartphone and trigger its opening using geolocation,
• le Tahoma pack, also connected to the Somfy home automation box and its dedicated mobile application, associates the motorized connected lock with all the other equipment in the home (heating, lighting, etc.) in order to create personalized home automation scenarios.
