The Qlima SCM 52 DUO model, available year-round and equipped with inverter technology, combines an outdoor unit with two indoor units, to be placed in the rooms to be air-conditioned or heated.  Three in one, it also features a highly efficient dehumidification function that can extract up to 28 liters/24 hours. Another advantage is that the device can be controlled simply with a remote control, or remotely, via the home's Wi-Fi network, with a smartphone equipped with the Tuya app.

1 compressor for 2 indoor units

The Qlima SCM 52 DUO multi-split air/air heat pump works on the same principle as monosplits, with one difference. Its outdoor unit can be connected to two indoor units, thus air conditioning or heating different rooms in the house at the same time. This model comes with 4 m of connections between the indoor and outdoor unit, and the possibility of adding two 4 m connections, making a total of 12 m.



Inverter technology for maximum comfort



Unlike a system operating in "all or nothing", i.e. at 100% of its power at each activation, the Inverter technology of the SCM 52 DUO Qlima heat pump automatically compensates for the slightest variation in temperature (in heating or cooling mode), and serves to maintain an indoor temperature as close as possible to the set temperature. When the latter is reached, the compressor speed then gradually decreases in order to maintain the room temperature with a minimum of variations, which ensures comfort, efficiency and longevity. 

Thanks to the progressive variations of the compressor, electricity consumption is reduced by approximately 35%, compared to a non-Inverter air conditioner.



A three-in-one concept



The Qlima SCM 52 DUO heat pump heats, cools and dehumidifies the room, creating a complete air treatment system, pleasantly distributed throughout the room via an adjustable ventilation system.



Energy-efficient, this model is rated A++ in cooling mode and A+ in heating mode. It also has the advantage of operating with a minimum noise level of 42,5 dB.



Perfectly healthy air



With the Qlima SCM 52 DUO heat pump, the air in the rooms is purified by two filters: the HAF air filter, which captures allergens such as bacteria, dust and pollen with an efficiency close to 80%; and the cold catalytic filter, active on many unwanted gases present in the air.

Installation and commissioning

Qlima multi-split heat pumps can be installed by a private individual, but commissioning must be carried out by a professional (Decree 2015-1790 of December 28, 2015). Committed to a quality approach, Qlima offers commissioning packages for its “Ready to Install” heat pumps, via its network of RGE-certified professionals, for a cost of €255 including tax* for the SCM 52 DUO. And, for a complete, comfortable installation, Qlima has also developed an “Installation and Commissioning” offer, with a floor-standing outdoor unit, for a cost of €879 including tax* for the SCM 52 DUO.
