A safe working environment

Many industries are faced with Atex zones: from the pharmaceutical, chemical and petrochemical sectors to the food and textile industries. When flammable gases, vapors or combustibles come in contact with oxygen, any source of ignition can cause an explosion. Sparks, flames, high temperatures or static energy should therefore be avoided at all times. As an employer, you must be able to allow employees to work in a safe environment and minimize the risk of explosion. The Dynaco S-5 Atex explosion-proof high-speed doors for category 2 (zone 1/21) and category 3 (zone 2/22) are an asset in this respect.

Certified twice

Claiming that a door is explosion-proof is one thing. At Dynaco, we make this proof a reality, and our Atex solutions for Zones 1/21 and 2/22 can also present official certificates for the entire door as a finished, operational product. This is unique in the sector and represents significant added value for our customers, as we not only give them peace of mind but also save them a lot of additional administrative work. 

In Atex environments, all door components must be explosion-proof: from the metal structure to the electrical components, including the curtain and guides. All of these elements are always certified separately by the respective manufacturer. But Dynaco's work doesn't stop there, because in addition to these underlying certificates, S-5 Atex doors also come with a type certificate, which relates to the model, and a door certificate with a serial number, which is only issued after inspection of the fully finished and pre-assembled door. Apragaz, an official European inspection body through a Notified Body, visits our workshop for this purpose. They verify, control, and test compliance with Atex regulations and only then issue their official C1 inspection report.
