The waterproofing specialist has developed a brand new product to enhance the ISO-TOP range. ISO-TOP APPUI XPS, an insulating profile made from XPS polystyrene with very high compressive strength, is specially designed for the thermal insulation of window sills.

ISO-TOP APPUI XPS, a new addition to the ISO-TOP range

This area is always critical in terms of breaking thermal bridges. ISO-TOP APPUI XPS offers not only very good thermal insulation, but also a pressure-resistant substructure (900-1000 kPa) for window sills made of aluminum or mineral materials.

ISO-TOP SUPUI XPS has a positive influence on the temperature factor fRSi and helps limit condensation and mold growth in the interior junction area.

This new solution applies to new constructions, residential buildings, single-family homes, low-energy buildings and passive houses; it is also suitable for the energy renovation of buildings.

ISO-TOP APPUI XPS focuses on flexibility of use and adapts its dimensions to any project to achieve tailor-made solutions.

To meet the varying requirements of construction sites, ISO-CHEMIE offers customized dimensional solutions. Six basic variants are available; length adjustments can be made directly on site using a chainsaw or hand saw.

For even more enhanced waterproofing

A second level of waterproofing can be created by gluing ISO-TOP APPUI XPS to the wall and window profile in combination with ISO-TOP FACADE SEAL MS polymer.

ISO-TOP APPUI XPS can also be installed in combination with other products from the ISO3 window sealing system and the ISOE-WDVS sealing system.

ISO-TOP APPUI XPS complies with the requirements of the European Buildings Directive, the Building Energy Act and the principles of the RAL "Assembly Guidelines".
