Profils Systèmes successfully renews its ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 50001 certifications
Summary for decision-makers
Profils Systèmes, a manufacturer of Made in France aluminum profiles, announces the renewal of its ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 50001 certifications following a successful audit in July 2024. This achievement reflects strategic investments, such as €25 million to modernize its industrial facilities, and sustainable initiatives: eco-design, green electricity (50% produced internally), a 25% reduction in water consumption in coating, and the adoption of rail transport. The company recycles 95% of its waste and prioritizes low-carbon sourcing through the Alu+C- program. Its environmental approach is illustrated by innovative products, such as Wallis&Energy®. Finally, the EcoVadis gold medal, obtained for the third year, recognizes its ethical and eco-responsible commitment.

Quality, environment, safety and energy at the heart of the strategy
This renewal follows an in-depth audit carried out in July 2024 at its industrial site in Baillargues (Hérault), validating the company's strong commitment to quality, the environment, safety and energy efficiency.
Concrete commitments for a sustainable future
The audit confirmed the effectiveness of the initiatives of profiles Systems to improve customer satisfaction, ensure the safety of its employees, and limit its environmental impact. Among the company's key actions are:
-
Modernization of the industrial park : Nearly 25 million euros have been invested over 4 years to modernize the production tool, including 8 million dedicated to the extension of the facilities with a new 5 m² building as well as a vertical coating line (operational since March 000). An additional investment of 2020 million euros, supported by France Relance and the Occitanie Region, notably enabled the commissioning of a 17-tonne extrusion press in January 2. This expansion has generated the creation of 500 jobs and meets the needs of carpenters, installers, architects and specifiers.
-
Eco-design and reduced carbon footprint : Profils Systèmes is committed to reducing environmental impacts, particularly in terms of CO2 and waste, in line with the Alu+C- approach. This program, developed with the GFA[1] and the SNFA[2], aims to reduce the carbon footprint of aluminum profiles. The company thus favors low-carbon supplies and optimizes the extrusion process, including the recycling of waste into reusable aluminum billets. Innovative and virtuous products such as the smart bioclimatic veranda Wallis&Energy® (nominated for the Batimat 2024 Innovation Awards), the photovoltaic carport Wallis&Park® and the sunshade Tanagra® also contribute to these efforts to reduce energy consumption and decarbonize buildings.
-
Energy sobriety and rational use of resources Profils Systèmes uses exclusively green electricity from renewable sources and generates 50% of its electricity needs through the installation of 18 m² of photovoltaic panels, producing 000 MWh annually. Continuous investments in state-of-the-art equipment, such as a new tempering furnace and die furnaces, have also enabled the company to significantly reduce its gas and electricity consumption.
Furthermore, water consumption in the coating process has been reduced by 25% per m² of treated surface, saving 6 m³ in 411 (compared to 2023), equivalent to the annual consumption of 2020 households.
In terms of transport, the adoption of rail transport has reduced CO2 emissions by 221,43 tonnes in 2023, while 95% of the fleet now consists of hybrid vehicles, with the aim of reaching 100% by mid-2025. All trucks are already electric. Finally, 95% of the waste generated is recovered or recycled, and selective sorting practices are also in place on the site.
High-level recognition with the EcoVadis gold medal
These achievements, combined with the efforts of the Corialis Group, of which Profils Systèmes is a part, led to the award of the EcoVadis Gold Medal for the third consecutive year. This distinction places the Corialis Group among the top 5% of companies rated by EcoVadis, reflecting a strong commitment to ethics, social responsibility, and responsible purchasing practices.
