Terrasse 9 housing program: Zehnder dual-flow CMV systems ensure air quality and heating
Zehnder dual-flow CMV systems ensure air quality and heating in Terrasse 9 homes
Located in the Seine Arche ZAC in Nanterre, Bouygues Immobilier's Terrasse 9 mixed-use development was designed by the Zündel Cristea architecture studio. This development is environmentally friendly and has been awarded the BEPOS label. Installed in each apartment, the individual Zehnder ComfoAir 350 ventilation systems ensure air quality and heating.
This system combines comfort, high efficiency and integration thanks to the compact exchanger placed vertically in a closet. The air flow rates of the Zehnder ComfoAir 350 double flow CMV can be adjusted between 40 and 400m3/h. Stale air is extracted from the humid rooms while fresh air from outside is introduced into the living areas. The CMV is equipped with a counter-current heat exchanger which achieves an efficiency of 96% certified NF. A heat transfer, with energy recovery, takes place between the extracted air and the air forced into the apartment from outside.
Zehnder LongFlow long-range ventilation outlets were also installed to maintain high ceilings in the living areas. These are connected to Zehnder ComfoTube 90 ventilation ducts. With its Coanda-effect design, Zehnder LongFlow distributes air toward the back of the living area without creating drafts, thus providing maximum air exchange while maintaining consistent comfort.
