Promat expands its range with MasterImpact RH for wall lining

Promat, a leader in the manufacture and marketing of fire-resistant boards and a recognized player in high-performance insulation , equips its MASTERIMPACT®-RH board with a new application for lining masonry walls (bricks, blocks), steel cladding or timber frame with insulation.

A TRIPLE PERFORMANCE DUBBING 

The MASTERIMPACT®-RH board, combined with a layer of rock or glass wool, is applied to the frame against the interior wall of the wall. The characteristics of this lining complex, composed of the existing wall (masonry walls or cladding) combined with the nature and thickness of the insulation and two superimposed 12 mm MASTERIMPACT®-RH boards, will determine the fire resistance classification of the lining: EI 90, EI 120 or EI 180, as well as the thermal and acoustic performance of this assembly. This lining can reach up to 6 meters in height, which allows it to be used in most buildings, particularly industrial, tertiary and public buildings. 

CLASSIC AND SIMPLE IMPLEMENTATION 

Its implementation is easy and classic. After inserting a layer of mineral wool between the lining uprights against the existing wall, two thicknesses of 12 mm MASTERIMPACT®-RH boards are successively screwed onto them, offsetting the respective joints to avoid overlapping between them. The thinned edges on the sides of each board facilitate the jointing work, which will be treated with a glass grid coated with MASTERJOINT® EC coating for a tile finish, or MASTERJOINT® paste for a paint finish. This will be carried out in accordance with CSTB Technical Opinion 9/10-905, which is available for MASTERIMPACT®-RH for linings and distribution partitions.

MASTERIMPACT®-RH boards are available in two sizes: 1200X2600 and 1200X3000 mm. They are shaped or sanded using woodworking tools combined with a 160 X 20 mm diameter MASTERIMPACT®-RH circular saw blade for cutting.  

ATTRACTIVE VARIANTS 

The many intrinsic qualities of the MASTERIMPACT®-RH plate: resistance to humidity, shocks, high dimensional stability, hardness, etc. allow for multiple applications such as:  

* Lightweight partition (with fire resistance up to EI 120) remains one of the few systems on the market to have been tested and validated by CSTB technical opinion for use in seismic zones,

* lightweight partition (EI 60) on 70/38 wooden frame,

* suspended ceiling under steel-concrete floor in damp rooms, 9 mm thick and in single layer combined with a layer of rock wool; its fire classification is REI 60,

* suspended ceiling using special spacers and threaded rods suitable for very humid rooms, without insulation and always in single layer,

* suspended ceiling for outdoor use under cover for roof soffits, canopies, awnings, and loggias, with a specific framework and fastening system. This solution is advantageous because it combines rigidity, rot-proofing, and UV resistance. It also complies with regulations governing climate change zones.

Marked CE according to ETAG 018-4, MASTERIMPACT®-RH plates benefit from an Environmental and Health Declaration Sheet (FDES).
