This CE marking therefore concerns - and this is exclusive - the entire "Fibrous Projected" range as well as the "Plates" range: Promatect®, Supalux®, Masterimpact®.
This achievement allows Promat to display the conformity of its offer in terms of health and safety and to meet the requirements of the European Construction Products Directive (European Directive No. 89/106/EEC).
As a reminder, the DPC aims to allow the free movement of construction products and systems within the European Union market and to guarantee the safety of users through a certain number of requirements, both in terms of the constructed work and fire safety.
Every building must now be characterized by "performance" requirements: mechanical resistance and stability, absence of risk in terms of hygiene, health, the environment, and must also present performance in terms of protection against noise, thermal insulation and energy savings.
In the event of a fire, the structure will have been designed so that the load-bearing function is ensured for a certain period, that the origin and spread of fire and smoke is limited as well as the transmission of the fire to the surrounding area, that the occupants can leave or be evacuated, and finally, that the safety of the intervention teams is ensured.
This is an essential passport for all these products intended to open up to export markets in the European Economic Area, which indicates that the conformity certification procedure, included in the Construction Products Directive (CPD), has been rigorously followed and that they are therefore suitable for use. Member States are obliged to authorize products displaying the CE mark on their territory.
