Promat partners with construction economists at the Prescription trade fair

To consolidate its commitment to economists, and more broadly to project managers, Promat will be present at the 21st Prescription Exhibition (from May 31 to June 2, 2017 at the Parc des Expositions in Lille). On this occasion, Promat, leader in

New for 2017:

§ Ventilation or smoke extraction ducts made of PROMATECT®-L500. They have been specifically developed for optimized application, significantly reducing assembly time and increasing productivity:

- reduction of the thickness to 25 mm of the faces of vertical ducts against surrounding walls (concrete, breeze block, brick, lightweight partition), while maintaining a fire resistance of EI 60 to EI 120,

- Removal of the caulking bead and significant reduction in the density of rock wool on the underside of the slab,

- load transfer on two sides,

- double gluing without peeling and a faster fixing system.

§ The PROMASPRAY®-P300 spray-applied paste coating provides high fire resistance performance on most substrates (concrete, steel, wood, membranes, composite steel decking), achieving an R/REI of up to 240 for ceramic hollow core slabs and steel or concrete beams, as well as concrete hollow core slabs and concrete beams. It also offers significant acoustic correction properties. The application thickness of PROMASPRAY®-P300 has been reduced to as low as 10 mm to maintain the fire resistance of wood floors for durations of 60, 90, and 120 minutes.

§ PROMAPAINT®-SC4 and PROMAPAINT®-SC3 are water-based intumescent paints . Thanks to their excellent properties, they guarantee a perfect combination of high fire performance (up to R 120) and a highly refined aesthetic finish on structural elements (beams and columns, including tubular profiles) made of steel and/or concrete. Similarly, their composition allows them to meet the requirements of the lowest VOC emission class ( A+ ) to maintain a healthy level of air quality for occupants.

Note that new European tests have validated the reduction in thickness and the number of layers to be applied of PROMAPAINT®-SC4 paint in order to obtain fire stability (R 30, R 60 and R 90) of steel structural elements (including tubular profiles), indoors and outdoors under shelter.

§ PROMASTOP®-FC3 and PROMASTOP®-FC6 caulking collars . Essential for preventing the spread of fire between floors via pipes, the PROMASTOP®-FC3 and PROMASTOP®-FC6 collars are equipped with expanded capabilities.

Promat therefore offers:

- Fire resistance in concrete slabs ranging from EI 30 to EI 120, for PVC pipes up to diameters of 250 mm,

- fire resistance in concrete walls ranging from EI 30 to EI 120, for PVC pipes up to diameters of 250 mm (solutions are possible up to EI 240).
