Protect your machines with Chryso Elio-Tec

Thanks to this protective film developed by Chryso, which you simply spray directly onto the elements to be protected, you can significantly extend the lifespan of your machines. With its tracer effect, you can check which areas have been treated or not, since the sprayed product turns from yellow to white once it comes into contact with the machine.

CHRYSO® Elio-Tec, a new equipment protection agent with tracer effect and no air entrainment

CHRYSO (Materis Group) completes its range of equipment protection agents with CHRYSO® Elio-Tec. This new process provides effective protection against the adhesion of concrete and mortar to the metal surfaces of mixer machines, block presses, molds, concrete mixer trucks, etc. Designed to preserve, maintain and extend the life of equipment, both in prefabrication and ready-mixed concrete, CHRYSO® Elio-Tec both protects factory equipment and facilitates its cleaning. It also has two characteristics sought by manufacturers: a tracer effect to visualize the treated areas and no air entrainment. CHRYSO offers two application systems with the CHRYSO® Pulvo range (for small packages) and the automated system dedicated to larger packages. The high performance of the new agent has been proven in the laboratory and in real conditions.

Protection of equipment and sustainability of production machines

Sprayed directly onto the walls of machines such as mixers, presses or concrete mixer trucks, CHRYSO® Elio-Tec forms a protective film to prevent the natural adhesion of fresh concrete. It preserves, maintains and extends the lifespan of equipment. It can be applied at the end of the day after cleaning or at the beginning of the day before the first concrete production.

In addition, this new agent provides excellent protection against corrosion of metal surfaces.

An aid for cleaning and stripping

CHRYSO® Elio-Tec facilitates the cleaning of treated walls. The agent can also be used to help strip existing layers of concrete by penetrating the residue before breaking it down. Its stripping action greatly facilitates washing, which is carried out with plenty of water, a brush or a spatula. Thus, the use of CHRYSO® Elio-Tec significantly reduces the tedium of daily cleaning.

A tracer effect to visualize the treated areas

The tracer effect of CHRYSO® Elio-Tec helps streamline product consumption. Its principle is simple: the product, initially transparent yellow, turns white when sprayed on the wet metal walls of the equipment, allowing the treated and untreated areas to be seen. The agent reacts with the water present on the metal walls and forms a milky emulsion to avoid unnecessary consumption.

Maintaining the quality of the first batches

CHRYSO® Elio-Tec does not entrain air when in contact with the concrete and allows the qualities of the first batches to be preserved, which can be used with complete peace of mind. Thanks to this property, the entire production is valued.

Two implementation solutions adapted to industrial constraints

CHRYSO offers various CHRYSO® Elio-Tec application systems, some mobile and others fixed, designed to adapt to the different packaging available.

For example, the range CHRYSO®Pulvo is particularly recommended for small containers such as drums. For larger containers, CHRYSO has an automatic pump that adapts to factory and power plant conditions.
