Qboard® basiq reno: The new all-finish wall and floor panel

Thanks to the new Qboard® basiq reno construction panel , building walls and floors becomes even easier and faster. This innovation from manufacturer JACKON Insulation allows you to create perfectly smooth surfaces. With a non-woven coating on both sides, it can be tiled, plastered, or covered with paint or wallpaper in no time. Extremely lightweight and stable, Qboard® basiq reno is easy to cut and highly resistant to pressure. Water-repellent, it is also suitable for use in damp rooms such as bathrooms.

Before applying the finishing surface, all panel contours and visible areas are reinforced with a reinforcing strip. In areas prone to moisture, such as bathrooms, the panel edges are sealed with a sealing strip. 

Multiple layout possibilities

The specific non-woven coating allows the panel to be covered with any type of finish: tiles, plaster, wallpaper, paint, etc. Thus, on the same wall, it is possible to create one part with wallpaper and another with tiles. 

Tapered edges for a flat surface

Thanks to its tapered edges, the joints between the panels are easily handled with a spatula and reinforcing tape. The result is a perfect installation with joints adjusted to the millimeter and a consistently flat surface. It's no longer even necessary to completely cover the panel with plaster. A considerable time saver for the craftsman! 

With its extruded polystyrene (XPS) core, Qboard® basiq reno is rot-proof, stable, and applicable to a variety of surfaces. It is available in two sizes, 1200 x 600 mm and 2600 x 600 mm, and in two thicknesses.
