Who doesn't dream of a walk-in shower these days—easy to install, elegant, and affordable? Outdated bathrooms are now being transformed into personalized wellness spaces where the walk-in shower takes center stage. To create a walk-in shower, the Qboard® liquid extruded polystyrene (XPS) shower tray is the reliable, fast, economical, and aesthetically pleasing solution.

To replace an old bathtub with a walk-in shower, the shower tray Qboard® liquid simply fits into the screed cavity. With its preformed slope and integrated waterproof flange, this shower tray leaves room for the most creative ideas while guaranteeing watertightness.

Ready to tile, it can take on multiple shapes (square, rectangular, round, polygonal, trapezoidal, etc.). Another advantage is that the position of the drain is completely free.

Simple to work, water repellent and waterproof

The shower tray Qboard® liquid installs easily and quickly.

1/ Create a cavity in the existing support to connect the flow.

2/ Fill the cavity with filling mortar.

3/ Apply flexible tile adhesive to the entire lower surface of the shower tray.

4/ Place the shower tray in the screed cavity.

To prevent any risk of water infiltration, it is necessary to treat the junctions of the tray edges with the provided sealing strip. Once the stainless steel grid is in place, the shower tray can be tiled directly. Qboard liquid® comes with a sealing kit and a drain set.

Qi basiq for walls and floor

For the shower walls, Qboard® basic is the support solution that guarantees the waterproofing of walls. This panel is particularly suitable for uneven walls, cracked or non-adherent supports. It provides lasting protection against humidity.

On a concrete screed, a wooden base or old tiles, from a thickness of 10 mm, Qboard® basiq is the ideal base for a new floor covering.
