With its clean lines and easy access, the walk-in shower is enjoying a surge in popularity. The need for accessibility is driving its adoption. The Qboard® liquid line perfectly embodies this trend. Jackon Insulation offers a ready-to-tile shower tray with an elegant integrated drain channel in brushed stainless steel. Creating a level-access shower has never been easier. The Qboard® range will be presented at the Maison & Travaux trade show from May 18 to 21, 2017 in Paris (Hall 4.1, Stand D74).

A walk-in shower in no time

Specifically designed for walk-in showers, Qboard® liquid line is water-repellent and offers high pressure resistance. This extruded polystyrene (XPS) shower tray can be easily cut with a utility knife to the desired size. Once the tray is installed, all that remains is to lay the tiles. The integrated drain can be reversed and tiled over. Highly accessible, even for wheelchair users, the walk-in shower created with Qboard® liquid line guarantees safety, watertightness, and high pressure resistance (>200 kPa).

Easy and quick installation in six steps

1. Make a cavity in the existing support to connect the drain.

2. Fill the cavity with filler mortar. Apply flexible tile adhesive to the entire underside of the tray.

3. Place the shower tray in the screed cavity.

4. Treat the edges of the shower tray with the sealing strip provided to prevent any risk of water infiltration.

5. Tile the installed shower tray directly.
