QUALIFELEC, a qualification body that keeps its promises

On the 60th anniversary of QUALIFELEC, Thierry Hénault, its President, had reason to celebrate. The objective
to allow individuals or private or public clients to select in
all confidence, competent professionals for the organization of their work, is achieved!

But QUALIFELEC doesn't stop there and anticipates!

To continue to respond to constant changes in regulations, and to make the system of
even more efficient qualification, QUALIFELEC:

1. adopts two new terms: IRVE and wind power
2. strengthens its qualification committees
3. provides better visibility on the web

1. Simplified references, new approved mentions

After having recently clarified its standards, QUALIFELEC approves two new mentions, for
meet the needs:

- the IRVE (Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure) mention which allows the promotion of
a specific skill, in response to an exponential market which would represent, in the short or
medium term, 5 billion euros (source EDF), is available in 4 qualification references.

- the Wind Energy mention, another anticipatory choice, commits the construction sector to the path of
BEPOS (positive energy building) and energy transition (renewable energies).

2. Strengthened qualification committees

The rallying of SMABTP (leading insurer of construction industry players) and SOCOTEC in the
colleges of the Board of Directors of QUALIFELEC in the first half of 1, contributes to strengthening
the qualification committees. The 12 regional qualification committees can now rely on
out of 350 qualifiers, representatives of each college to decide on each qualification file.

These professionals are part of the same movement of understanding the issues
and the expectations of professionals in order to provide a shared and cross-functional response.

It is this same idea of convergence of professions, favoring the promotion of the qualification of electrical installers, which is carried by the partnership signed between QUALIFELEC and the Federation of Electrical Equipment Wholesalers (FGME). Concretely, this represents 1
points of sale which distribute almost 80% of electrical equipment in France, and therefore participate,
to the promotion of QUALIFELEC qualifications.

3. For better visibility on the web

No modernization can take place today outside the web.
A mine of information for both professionals and individuals, the new site highlights the RGE approach: Recognized Guarantor of the Environment.

Nearly 1 companies benefiting from RGE qualification are members of QUALIFELEC.
The ergonomics of the site guide the individual in simplified navigation, to quickly find
the qualified company closest to his home. It also provides him with the list of aids
financial, which he can claim for his energy renovation work.
