Viega's threaded bronze extensions and fittings, in nominal sizes from 3/8" to 3", meet numerous national and international standards. Bronze is proven to be safe and reliable over time and protects against corrosion, particularly dezincification. While the use of different materials in a drinking water system is common, there is a risk of contact corrosion. Simply insert a bronze element into the longitudinal section of the pipe to securely connect the different materials.

Factory-integrated knurling on the external thread allows for more cost-effective assembly. This process eliminates the need to roughen the threads to apply the hemp. A very cost-effective time saver.
