The acquisition of Mecosun, recognized in the field of green energy as a pioneer in building-integrated photovoltaic solutions, is perfectly consistent with the policy CSR of the Rector Lesage group, and whose commitments made in 2022 were confirmed in 2025 by:

  • SBTI approval of the decarbonization trajectory
  • but also by obtaining the AFNOR exemplary level label in 2025.

Mecosun, an expert in patented systems for integrating and installing photovoltaic solar panels, is based in Saint-Lys, Haute-Garonne. Its activities are structured around three main areas:

  • Integration systems,
  • Mecopark, standard self-weighted parking shade structures without foundations,
  • Megapark, custom-made industrial shade structures.

Mecosun's two latest activities will allow the Rector Lesage group to create strong synergies and complementarities with some of its subsidiaries such as Rector, Neo, and Rector Charpentes et Structures.

The integration into the Rector Lesage Group presents a new opportunity for Mecosun which will allow it not only to strengthen its position on the national market, but also to develop more rapidly internationally, particularly in Poland, Belgium, Czech Republic and Slovakia, countries in which the group is already present.
