Build sustainably, act sustainably
The economical house or how to respond to regulatory, economic and construction developments
The requirements for low-energy buildings (BBC) and the upcoming RT 2012 Thermal Regulations make energy management essential. For public and private project owners, this is becoming a major criterion in the selection of contractors.
This space will offer a new way of designing and building together, by bringing together all the trades, architects, project managers, and design offices from the outset. Construction systems and detailed technical solutions will be on display, illustrating the key elements needed to ensure that tomorrow's construction site is a blend of technical and human collaboration.
The communicating house or home automation applied to energy savings in the home
Technical solutions and scenarios will show how to save energy by adapting the operation of the house to the lifestyle of its occupants and to climatic conditions.
Home automation then allows for better management of energy consumption and meets the demands for comfort of customers or communities.
Accessibility and adaptability of buildings and establishments open to the public - ERP - or how to comply with upcoming regulations
A space will present solutions for the development and accessibility of an ERP for people with reduced mobility, loss of autonomy or disabilities.
Through examples of products, tools and fittings, this space will illustrate the regulatory obligations for communities, prescribers and craftsmen.
The overall approach (medical advice, financing, implementation) which meets the housing adaptability market will also be addressed.
External Thermal Insulation (ITE) and Wood Path
Every day, in collaboration with the Abibois and Atlanbois interprofessional organizations, respectively in Brittany and Pays de la Loire, visitors will be able to attend a demonstration of external thermal insulation.
A "Wood Trail" will allow you to meet manufacturers and companies developing a wood offering for exterior renovation: manufacturers or distributors of metal connectors, insulation, rain screens, cladding, carpenters, etc.
CNATP - National Chamber of Crafts, Public Works and Landscapers
will present solutions and answers to public works and landscaping professionals on the main environmental concerns related to their activity: alternatives to chemical and thermal weeding, non-collective sanitation, rainwater recovery, water savings, etc.
The world is changing, jobs are evolving

Prevention of occupational risks
The OPPBTP and the CRAM Bretagne and Pays de la Loire are continuing their work to prevent occupational risks: musculoskeletal disorders, road risks, chemical risks, wood dust, DU ERP, SST training courses, falls from height, etc.
A space for professions, employment, training and skills
An information space will be set up, attended by employment organizations, initial training providers, trainers and funders of continuing training, to provide answers to business leaders and employees in the construction sector.
Materials, architecture, design by example
The 2010 Brittany Architecture Prize exhibition with the Maison de l’Architecture Bretagne

The exhibition “Concrete and design: new concrete, new uses” with the Regional House of Architecture of the Pays de la Loire
Recent advances have led to the development of ultra-high-performance concretes that have found natural applications in building structures. Concrete, a rediscovered and reinvented material: today, its structures are becoming lighter, its skin is changing, taking on color, becoming beautiful, and even showing itself in the interior of homes. Thanks to new concretes, the material is being transformed into furniture with bold lines and vibrant colors.
New in 2010: the innovation trail
Specifiers, project owners, community services and businesses will be able to discover product innovations and technical solutions in the form of an “innovation observatory”.
