A player in natural insulation (known under the brands Batiplum, Baticoton and Batiouate), the company Naptural, located in Sainte Hermine (85), had been in receivership for several months. On September 15, the commercial court gave its approval for the takeover of Naptural by the company Cavac Biomatériaux, based in Sainte Gemme la Plaine (85).

This acquisition consolidates the development of Cavac Biomatériaux, which already has a strong presence in the "bio-sourced" insulation market with its Biofib'isolation range of insulation. In particular, it will enable it to increase production capacity to respond even more effectively to the ever-growing demand for natural insulation.

This acquisition is part of the diversification strategy of the Cavac agro-industrial group (turnover of 534 million Euros and 950 employees), which, with nearly 10 million Euros invested over the past 2 years, has chosen to commit to biomaterials and the development of "bio-sourced buildings".

Let us remember that Cavac Biomatériaux is the only manufacturer to offer a complete, "Eco-Logical" and 100% French supply chain from "field to site": hemp crops / straw defibering / coating plant fibers into insulating panels and rolls).

At the upcoming BATIMAT 2011 trade fair from November 7 to 12 (Paris - Porte de Versailles), Cavac Biomatériaux invites all building professionals interested in high-performance, sustainable insulation to come and discover the advantages of its "hemp & flax" industrial sector at its Biofib'isolation stand (Hall 1 stand K 80).
