Rocks: durable and resistant, just like its name

The Rocks' extremely robust frame has been specially designed in Germany to ensure high and long-lasting performance (105.000 hours), meeting the stringent lighting requirements of heavy industries, logistics platforms and also sports complexes in terms of:

• of resistance to all tests (protection indices IK08 and IP65),

• efficiency (up to 190 lm/W) with a very wide range of luminous flux (from 9100 to 54.000 lm),

• of powers (from 50 to 290 W) optimized for high spaces,

• operating temperatures. The armature operates efficiently from -30°C to +50°C for standard versions and from -20°C to +40°C for those with a sensor,

• respect for ENEC certified.Rocks meets the requirements of the IFS (International Featured Standard) for food processing facilities thanks to its impact-resistant body (EN 60598-1 section 4.13) and excellent cleanability. Compliant with the D-mark for environments exposed to fire hazards, the frame is also certified VDE 0710-13/DIN 18032-3:2018 against impacts from balls and balloons (for static installation with suspension brackets), thus allowing its use in sports complexes.

Offered in neutral white color temperature (4000K) and available as a single module (up to 33 lm) or double module (from 000 lm), Rocks is also equipped with precision optics that offer two types of beams: Wide (40°) and Path (000 x 75°).

Finally, the Rocks frame obviously takes user comfort into account by offering a UGR <19 or <22 depending on the model, guaranteeing low glare for the occupants of these sites.

Three types of future-proof lighting management

To optimally meet all applications and needs, the Rocks frame is available with 3 types of lighting management to choose from:

• in DALI as standard,

• with PIR sensors compatible with Zhaga Book 18 standards To facilitate maintenance and enhance the modularity of the luminaires, which can then be adapted and integrated into various lighting control strategies or systems. A real gain in flexibility in terms of control and budget for logistics and industrial sites!

• incorporating SylSmart® Connected intelligent management using a control node (without visible sensors) or sensors integrated into each fixture. A Zhaga Book 18 compatible version will be available for these at the end of 2025 to enhance their scalability. Since the use of high-efficiency luminaires in these large spaces is very energy-intensive, this solution allows detailed data on occupancy and daylight to be collected and relayed securely via a qualified Bluetooth mesh network and used to improve the efficiency of the installation and thus significantly reduce energy consumption.

In addition, there is the possibility of extending the performance of SylSmart® Connect thanks to the SylSmart® Connected Pro digital platform to obtain even more clear and precise information on the assets of industrial and logistics sites in order to develop, monitor and implement, if necessary, optimization strategies.
