Equip'baie 2014 Trade Fair: D+H Mechatronic presents its new products

At the Equip'baie 2014 trade show, D+H Mechatronic will be showcasing its new window motorization systems, including the CDC, CDP, and KA chain drive series and the DAC control unit. The supplier of smoke extraction (SHEV) and natural ventilation systems will be showcasing its CDC solutions for integration into PVC windows for the first time in France.

Very compact, CDC series chain motors adapt almost invisibly to all types of windows and guarantee natural ventilation. Starting this fall, window manufacturers will be able to offer their customers a preview of this intelligent and secure concept.

Another advantage is that the CDC Series requires minimal assembly work, without sacrificing safety or functionality. The individually programmable CDC motor is equipped with an electronic "µ-Controller" control system that allows, among other things, the separate adjustment of the opening strokes and the closing or opening speeds.

For particularly heavy DENFC (Natural Smoke and Heat Evacuation Device) roof windows, D+H has designed a series of high-performance CDP chain motors. These products perfectly combine ventilation comfort and cutting-edge smoke extraction technology, without altering the aesthetics of facades or roofs.

This combination of power and design is made possible by a high-performance gear motor combined with a particularly pressure-resistant hardened steel chain. The assembly is cleverly concealed in a compact aluminum housing. Despite its power, the new CDP (available in a 24 V version) has a current consumption of only 4 A, making it an energy-efficient device.

The KA engines, D+H Mechatronic's proven systems are truly versatile. From December onwards, their high adaptability will be evident in even the most ambitious architectural solutions, such as the future Musée des Confluences in Lyon (opening on 19 December). In this building, more than 300 KA drives have been installed. Suitable for almost all window types and adaptable to all requirements, this D+H classic is available in various sizes and power variants. With a pushing and pulling force of up to 600 N and a stroke length of up to 1 mm, the KA system technology has proven itself. The integrated high-speed function, which guarantees window opening in just 300 seconds, as well as the temperature stability of 60 min / 30 °C.

DAC 4503-T Series Smoke Extraction Controls are designed for use in confined spaces, such as stairwells. It is possible to integrate a maintenance programmer to monitor the frequency of technical revisions, to activate numerous alarm or fault functions, as well as to adjust numerous functions such as limiting the ventilation duration or adjusting the opening stroke.
