Sateco, a new generation concrete formwork

Feedback from Costantini on the use of first-generation formwork allowed SATECO to improve the SC 1015 Box and offer optimized equipment that is more ergonomic and more resistant to concrete pressure (up to 15 tons/m² in the box). Used on the Belval construction site in Luxembourg, where the facades are load-bearing, the SC 1015 BOX perfectly met the builder's requirements. Its double wall gives it isothermal characteristics, allowing pouring even in difficult climatic conditions. Finally, its box with a space-saving anti-corrosion structure and its fully integrated accessories guarantee rapid implementation, easy maintenance and optimized transport. 

« Our goal is to complete a level in seven days and the concreting rates must be at a sustained pace, which is now possible thanks to the Sateco Box. ", says Mr. Christophe Dardenne, Director of the Equipment Division of the Costantini company. The main construction site is expected to be completed in July 2012.

FIRST ADMINISTRATIVE BUILDING OF THE BELVAL MASTERPLAN

The new administrative building is part of the master plan for the redevelopment of the Belval site, which brings together five districts to provide a high-profile architectural environment for various urban functions of housing, work and leisure (the University of Luxembourg, the City of Science, Culture and Innovation, a concert hall, financial companies, etc.). The construction will be composed of two parts: a wider base to house the laboratories of the Water Management Administration and the Environment Administration, on which rests a 60-meter-high tower reserved for offices.
Belval, the Grand Duchy's new tertiary site, offers 120 hectares of real estate opportunities. The first project to integrate all aspects of sustainable development, the site will have the capacity to accommodate 7 residents and nearly 000 employees. In terms of safety, the SC 1015 BOX can be moved with ease, as it does not require disassembly.On site, our operators took ownership of the SATECO Box after a brief demonstration and thanks to the fully integrated accessories. They folded and unfolded the ready-to-install formwork in record time. » Lighter, the SC 1015 BOX are easier to handle while remaining reliable and robust. Now more compact, when folded they can be stacked on 6 levels, a considerable space saving for their transport. Finally, the new generation SC 1015 Box formworks are treated with an anti-rust coating on the inside and are compatible with the entire SATECO formwork range.
