Passive fire safety in public buildings: Pyroguard improves the technical and aesthetic performance of its Smokeguard containment screen
Pyroguard presents a new version of Smokeguard
Pyroguard, an independent manufacturer of fire-resistant and flame-resistant glazing, is launching a new version of Smokeguard, its complete glazed containment screen system, and is publishing technical documentation to mark the occasion.
Pyroguard's Smokeguard is a passive safety system that controls the direction of smoke and keeps it at bay long enough for people to safely evacuate a building while minimizing the risk of inhaling toxic fumes. This solution includes a containment screen made of 8 mm thick monolithic tempered glass and specific fixings.
To reconcile its ease of installation on the underside of the roof or ceiling with the aesthetics of the buildings, Pyroguard has revised the design of its fixing parts. These new rounded brushed stainless steel brackets further improve the perfect finish of the assembly to guarantee minimal visual impact while ensuring an optimal protective barrier. For greater discretion, steel covers are available. Pyroguard also offers customization solutions on request such as screen printing, signage, acid etching, modeling or cutting.
To mark the launch of the new version of Smokeguard, dedicated documentation has been published. Specifiers will find all the product's technical specifications and application guidelines. Available upon request by phone at +33 3 87 00 28 15 or by email at [email address missing]. info.france@pyroguard.euThe new Smokeguard documentation from Pyroguard will soon be available for download on the website. www.pyroguard.eu
