Solar, for sealing solar thermal installations

GEB, Europe's second largest manufacturer of jointing pastes, is launching Solar, a sealing paste designed for connections in solar thermal systems.

High performance, SOLAR is a jointing paste resistant to extreme temperatures (up to 220°C peak) specially designed to seal threaded connections and metal screw connections in solar thermal installations.

Air-curing, SOLAR can be applied without flax tow and allows easy sealing of threaded metal connections present on solar thermal installations (solar storage tanks, air vents, valves, taps, mixers, circulation pumps, etc.) as well as solar heat exchanger elements. It safely ensures reliable and durable sealing in the main areas of the installation with the exception of direct connection to solar collectors for which it is necessary to follow the manufacturer's recommendations.

Compatible with hot and cold water not intended for human consumption, the new SOLAR sealing paste from GEB is resistant to heat transfer fluids such as glycol water and withstands a pressure of 10 bars in hydraulics.
