High-quality and durable Fischer special terrace screws

Fluctuations in temperature and humidity, bad weather, frost... wooden decks are exposed to the elements year-round. They are also subject to the tannic acid in the wood, which corrodes the steel screws.
Made from austenitic stainless steel, fischer special deck screws guarantee secure and durable fasteners. The innovative shape of the special thread makes screwing easier, even in hardwoods.

Fischer Power-Fast stainless steel A2 terrace screw

With a diameter of 5,5 mm, fischer Power-Fast decking screws offer higher torsional strength and stresses in the event of swelling and shrinkage of the wood. The barely visible countersunk head ensures an aesthetically pleasing terrace surface.

Thanks to the thread under the head, the screw securely fixes the board to the joist. It prevents the screw head from breaking during tightening and from coming out if the wood shrinks due to weather conditions.

The Power-Fast thread allows screwing close to the edges, without splitting the wood of the deck and structure. The special and unique geometry of the Power-Fast thread also ensures good initiation.

Compliant with Unified Technical Document 51.4 for the installation of wooden decking boards, the fischer Power-Fast decking screw is ideal for the densest woods!

Fischer FTS stainless steel A2 terrace screw

Compliant with DTU 51.4, the fischer FTS terrace screws, with a diameter of 5,0 mm, combine speed and precision of implementation thanks to their special thread and sharp tip which prevents the blade from breaking. They facilitate screwing, even in hard and exotic woods, and allow the blades to be screwed firmly to the structure.

Their slightly rounded head provides an aesthetic finish to the wooden terrace.

FTA-RT adhesive tape: Protects joists from moisture

In addition to the need to protect the joists from ground moisture, it is important to provide protection between the joists and the wooden slats, because at these points of contact, water evaporates more slowly.
The fischer FTA-RT adhesive protection strip adheres easily to all types of wood and effectively protects it against moisture. It thus ensures a longer lifespan for the work.
It is more resistant to tearing (with its 1 mm thickness) than other products on the market, but also to atmospheric conditions, UV and ozone.
At 80 mm wide, it adheres easily to joists and covers most of the surface.

FTA-UP rubber raising wedge: Prevents water from stagnating on the joist

When building a wooden deck, it's essential to consider water drainage. Placed between the ground and the joist, the fischer FTA-UP extension wedge ensures water drainage and prevents stagnation, which will damage the wood in the medium term. Rot-proof, it protects the wood against humidity.
Non-slip and made from recycled rubber, this 8 mm thick wedge complies with DTU 51.4 "Exterior wooden decking" which recommends at least 5 mm. It also provides good sound insulation.

FTA-SP blade spacer: Standardizes blade installation

Spacing between the boards is important when installing decking because wood shifts, and deck boards expand and contract depending on weather conditions. If the spacing is too small, there's a risk of unpleasant surprises, which is why it's essential to respect the recommended spacing.
To accommodate all possible gaps, fischer offers a deck board spacer with 6 available positions: from 3 to 8 mm, more than most spacers available on the market.
FTA-SP deck board spacers provide uniform spacing between boards, whatever the appearance of the terrace.

Invisible clip FTA-IPW: Invisible fixing of wooden slats

The fischer FTA-IPW clip ensures quick, invisible installation, Because there are no visible screws, the wooden deck boards are durable. The design of the FTA-IPW invisible clip takes into account the expansion and contraction behavior of wood. Equipped with spacer pins, the fischer clip is suitable for all types of wooden decking. Adjustable from 120 to 150 mm, it adapts to all blade widths.
The FTA-IPW clip ventilates the terrace thanks to its lifting effect, and ensures automatic spacing of the slats. It is available as a kit of 50 clips with stainless steel screws.

FTA-CDW countersink drill bit with stop: Guarantees the perfect aesthetics of the boards fixed by decking screws

The countersink drill bit with stop allows both pre-drilling of blades and countersinking to prevent the wood from splitting, and thus ensure an aesthetic visual appearance of the terrace. Equipped with an adjustable stop, the milling depth can be defined according to the type of screw head used.

The fischer FTA-CDW countersink drill bit complies with the recommendations of DTU 51.4 “Exterior wooden decking” which recommends pre-drilling and countersinking wooden boards before screwing.

FTA-V Blade Raiser Spacer: The Universal Solution

The fischer FTA-V raising spacer ensures good ventilation of the terrace, avoiding the effects of humidity during board/joist contact, while allowing automatic spacing between the boards (7 mm spacer lug). It is installed quickly and without tools.
Can be cut by simple folding,
the FTA-V blade raising spacer can be positioned on the first blade against a foundation to provide the necessary spacing.
