Soprofen, first manufacturer to receive a Technical Opinion on an expanded polystyrene window unit

In recognition of Soprofen's expertise in the window unit market, the CSTB has just awarded it the first Technical Opinion on an expanded polystyrene window unit. This distinction concerns the Chrono PSE2, roller shutter which combines all the advantages of the bay unit and a tunnel box.

Published at the end of April, the CSTB Technical Opinion provides a positive assessment of the implementation of Chrono PSE2, in new housing, as a roller shutter box and/or BSO in numerous configurations (installation in a panel, ITE, ITI, masonry or concrete walls, single walls).

Furthermore, tests conducted by the CSTB validate the optimal performance of the Chrono PSE2 in terms of thermal insulation, mechanical resistance of the trunk, air permeability and acoustic comfort.
