Special renovation of Haussmannian buildings: MALERBA innovates with its MPER41 two-leaf landing door unit

The latest product from MALERBA's expertise, the MPER41 door unit was specially developed for the renovation of double-leaf entrance doors in Haussmann-style apartments. Allowing the existing layout to be preserved, while displaying unmatched technical performance, including fire, acoustic and burglar-proof, the MPER41 metal door unit is indeed the ideal solution for these renovations. Made to measure, its rehabilitation frame adapts perfectly to the existing door frame - metal or wood - and allows the entrance door unit to be changed quickly, without having to remove the old door frame, with, as a result, a particularly successful aesthetic result.

Quick to install, the MPER41 door unit consists of 2 leaves with galvanized steel facings (thickness 58 mm) with 3-sided overlap, with insulating core, rigid frame, tubular peripheral seal and intumescent seals. Its 2 leaves are movable to facilitate the passage of bulky objects. It is also equipped with a rehabilitation frame with airtight and acoustic seal as well as a Swiss steel threshold. In addition, it should be noted that this MPER41 door unit is equipped, as standard, with a 3-point A2P* lock, 8 adjustable 3D pins and 8 anti-unhinging pins.

With an EI30 fire resistance rating, the MPER41 door frame also provides high soundproofing (41 (-1; -4) dB), thermal insulation of 1,6 W/m².K and 5-minute burglary resistance at EN CR3 level. In addition, it is validated over wide dimensional ranges to renovate leaves up to 960+670 mm wide and 2247 mm high. Finally, while it improves the existing by guaranteeing enhanced security, note that the MPER41 door frame is also easily customizable thanks to a wide choice of lacquered finishes and decors (laminated facing with/without decorative strips, wood-tone PVC coverings, or even decorative grooves and moldings).
