Knauf LaPlak® simplifies all renovation projects by streamlining the concerns related to the multiplication of materials to be supplied on site, the choice of different types of plasterboard or even the calculations of the necessary quantities of each specialized board.
From now on, choosing plasterboard and estimating quantities for each project is simplified. The entire project (partitions, counterparts, and ceilings) can be handled with a single reference: Knauf LaPlaK®.

Synonymous with simplicity and efficiency for all renovation projects, Knauf LaPlaK® is manufactured in France at the Saint-Soupplets (77) factory and will be, from next September, in the new Knauf production unit in Fos-sur-Mer (13).
With a thickness of 13 mm and available in widths of 1 and lengths of 200 or 2 mm, Knauf LaPlaK® is as easy to install as standard plasterboard.
Knauf LaPlak®: concentrated performance in a single board
Knauf LaPlak® actually combines the benefits. Water repellent, it meets the water resistance requirements of humid rooms such as bathrooms.
Knauf LaPlak® also allows to improve sound insulation between rooms of 3 dB compared to a traditional 72/48 partition in standard plates. Made from high-density plaster, Knauf LaPlak® also has a increased resistance to shocks.
Furthermore, Knauf LaPlak® is equipped with the Knauf Cleaneo® C technology, for a healthier indoor airThis process purifies the ambient air by depolluting it with a reduction of around 80% in the concentration of formaldehyde*.

Knauf LaPlaK®, type F according to standard EN 520, is a solution compatible with all types of interior insulation, including bio-sourced insulation.
This type F classification, according to the requirements of the "Guide to interior insulation of residential buildings", allows for example to be used in association with the biosourced and recycled insulation Knauf ThermaSoft® natura. It can also be combined with other combustible insulation not classified A1 or A2-s1,d0, in the configurations of counter-partitions in residential buildings, such as for the realization of ceilings and slopes (of habitable rooms on the top levels in residential buildings) or for the realization of ceilings of habitable rooms on intermediate levels (in residential buildings of the 1st to 2nd family).
