SPX Hydraulic Technologies Introduces New Hydraulic Pump

SPX Hydraulic Technologies, a market leader in high-pressure hydraulic pumps, continues to innovate and now offers the SPX PE 45. This pump provides continuous flow, twice as fast as conventional two-stage pumps, thanks to a more efficient heat exchanger. A new Universal Motor has also been added. Designed for greater ease of use, the SPX PE 45 can be controlled by a cable remote control and weighs just 32,2 kg.
To ensure user safety, the PE 45 pump has been equipped with a valve allowing emergency shutdown.

The SPX PE 45 guarantees increased productivity, providing a continuous flow, twice as fast as that of conventional two-stage pumps.

To establish itself on the market and meet all user needs, the PE 45 pump offers the following characteristics:

- the possibility of providing continuous effort, in an environment subject to extreme conditions (between -25°C and +50°C) thanks to a high-performance exchanger,

the possibility of easily transporting the pump thanks to a total weight not exceeding 32,2 kg (oil not included),

a cable control remote control (5 meters) facilitating the use of the equipment,

improved oil filtration and a 1,8 horsepower Universal Motor allowing a reduction in nominal power of up to 20% and to work efficiently even with a very long extension cord.

Safety remains one of SPX Hydraulic Technologies' main concerns, and the PE 45 pump is made concrete by a relief valve integrated into the manifold, which allows for emergency shutdown of the entire system when the pressure exceeds 700 bars. This protects both the tool and the user from any sudden increase in pressure (in the event of incorrect connection of the couplers, for example).

The PE 45's control valve is also more easily adjustable to provide more precise torque output.
