Sylvania creates a unique LED solution for La Source, a media library and eco-citizen and community center in Bouscat

In the heart of the town of Bouscat, a commune in the Bordeaux metropolitan area, La Source, a media library and center for eco-citizen and community life, designed by the King Kong Architecture Studio, is a major element of the urban and landscape remodeling of the city center. Opened in late 2015, this building features a simple, yet elegant and refined range of materials. All interior spaces are lit by swooping lines of LED light, RANA LINEAR LED by Sylvania, which follow the building's metal structure.

Sylvania, a brand of Feilo Sylvania, has developed RANA LINEAR LED, a unique LED lighting system specifically for this project, combining comfort and energy savings. It guarantees excellent visual comfort and offers up to 43% energy savings compared to a traditional solution. RANA LINEAR LED also benefits from a lifespan of 50.000 hours.

Installed surface-mounted or suspended, this lighting solution is equipped with a steel casing and is available in different powers, lengths and colors (black, silver gray and white) for successful integration whatever the lit space.
