SylSmart®: A decade ahead

Starting with LEDs and semiconductors, the digitalization of lighting has paved the way for IoT, the cloud, and data-driven automation.

Ten years ago, with the launch of its decentralized smart management solution SylSmart®, Sylvania Group established itself as a pioneer in the digitalization of lighting. Combining wired and wireless technologies, it uses motion and light sensors as well as a mesh network to simplify building control while improving energy efficiency through a customized, open, and interoperable system.

New products and an active presence at the IBS trade fair

At IBS, a major event for all players in the sector where the smart building of tomorrow is being invented, Sylvania Group will present the latest developments in its digital solutions with:

• a BACnet gateway facilitating the integration of the SylSmart® Connected lighting system within a BMS, and the possible interoperability with other building equipment (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, security),

• Improvements to its Connected Pro platform make it even more powerful and user-friendly. It also features new rights management features to assign different levels of user access, depending on their roles.

At the same time, during the show, Nicolas Boyer of Sylvania Group will speak at a conference hosted by Emmanuel François, President of the Data Governance Alliance for Smarter Citizens on Tuesday, September 30 from 13:45 p.m. to 14:45 p.m. – RASTRELLI room.
