Salmson expands its service offering and strengthens customer support: “Easy test”, a personalized assessment in just a few clicks

Salmson, a major player in the field of pumps and pumping systems, is showcasing its expertise by putting its technical knowledge at the service of its customers through a new tool. "Easy Test" is a questionnaire, accessible from the Salmson website, allowing users to quickly test their knowledge on various topics and aimed at offering "tailor-made" training.

Easy test: a personalized assessment of your technical knowledge in just a few clicks

Designed by Salmson's Services Division, two types of questionnaires were developed around the fundamentals of the pump and its applications:

- The “Pro” questionnaires comprising around ten multiple-choice questions, accessible directly with a single click.
- "Personalized" questionnaires allow for a comprehensive assessment of knowledge on a specific topic. The results are analyzed by Salmson expert trainers who offer training tailored to the user's expectations and needs.

These training courses are conducted by Salmson experts specializing in Climate Engineering, Supply/Pressure Boosting, Lifting, Speed Variation, and Communication. They are provided at the Salmson training center located in Chatou (Head Office - Yvelines) and, upon request, in Laval (Production Site - Mayenne) or Bron (Rhône). The training courses relating to the pump and its environment aim to provide trainees with the necessary knowledge for optimal product selection and operation, taking into account the constraints encountered on an installation.

The Easy test:

- Is accessible from the Salmson website, in the “Our Services” section.
- Will be presented at the next Interclima exhibition in February 2010.

Men: Commitment to Service

By dialing 0 820 000 444 (Indigo number), the customer gains access to a full range of services: technical hotline, expertise, consumer service (service.conso@salmson.fr), on-site interventions (troubleshooting, commissioning assistance and installation diagnostics), spare parts service (more than 35,000 references available).

Field intervention:

National coverage, managed by a planning center, centralizes all requests, coordinates personnel and equipment, and optimizes missions. All applications are covered by Salmson's interventions.

Expertise and repair:

All feedback is assessed in the workshops located at the heart of the Laval production site. A comprehensive database allows for cross-referencing of experiences and ensures personalized support, taking into account the facilities, the fluid being transported, and the conditions of use.

A technical unit ensures that all customer feedback is capitalized on and provides a single point of contact to answer questions and track shipments. The workshops, divided into nine application zones over 9 m², are equipped with inspection and testing equipment that allows for analysis of the entire Salmson product range.

Returns and repairs are assessed by personnel specifically trained in the various product lines. They accompany after-sales technicians on-site three times a year to better understand the constraints in the field.
