The 26th edition of the Bâtir Ecologique trade fair will take place from November 28 to 2010, 7 at the Grande Halle de la Villette in Paris.

Ecological Building Exhibition

For its 7th edition, the Bâtir Écologique trade show is establishing itself as the benchmark for environmental construction, with a range of solutions and experts brought together at the event. From Friday, November 26 to Sunday, November 28, 2010, visitors will be able to discover the latest innovations in construction and home improvement at the Grande Halle de la Villette in Paris: compressed straw partitions, ecological energy systems, coverings made from healthy, natural materials, and more.

More than just a showcase, the Bâtir Écologique trade show is a training venue and a source of information on market trends. In addition to the professional training organized by the NégaWatt Institute, the conference and workshop program welcomes trainers, architects, medical doctors, engineers, and more.

● A PROGRAM OF CONFERENCES WITH SECTOR EXPERTS
In 2010, the floor was given to recognized experts in the field, including Dr. Suzanne DÉOUX, journalist Ruth STÉGASSY, and research engineer Raymond MONTERCY. A major player in the sector, the Île-de-France Region was also present with a conference related to ecological construction in communities. In addition, the event included technical demonstrations and implementation of materials, a training area, round tables, and the 4th Self-Building Forum on Saturday, November 27.
This year's Bâtir Écologique exhibition will focus on the human and cultural dimensions of true eco-construction. The "Ethical and Solidarity-Based Ecological Construction" series will feature three committed figures, Alain Marcom, François Marty, and Jean-Pierre Oliva, who will share their approach to eco-construction.

● HIGH-PERFORMANCE PRODUCT INNOVATIONS
A leading trade fair, Bâtir Écologique is an opportunity to discover solutions from different areas of ecological construction: construction materials, insulation, finishes, coatings, ecological paints, renewable energies, bioelectricity, natural air conditioning, green roofs, eco-sanitation, etc.
Overview of the most innovative and impactful products for this 2010 edition:

- lohberger : Aqua Insert + Pellets is a fireplace stove that received the 2010 Grand Prix de l'Innovation at the Bois Energie trade fair for its innovative technology in the BBC (low-energy building) sector. It allows the heating of a low-energy house with an integrated boiler, using wood or pellets. It benefits from an integrated hydraulic circulation system and a thermal safety device. Several designs and colors are available.

- Stramentech : compressed straw panel for interior partitions, homes, offices, tertiary and industrial sectors. This French-made panel is pre-drilled to facilitate the passage of electrical conduits. Several lengths are available

- Brimstone : Green Système P10 wood pellet stove, designed for individual homes. Tulikivi's Green Système range is a new generation of hybrid fireplace stoves that can operate without electricity and can burn logs or wood pellets of various sizes. This latter fuel has the advantage of being very easily accessible, practical to store and provides 2 to 3 hours of fire, or 12 to 24 hours of heat, with or without a grate.

- Auro - Natural Paints : two new ranges of lime paints, made from 100% natural materials. A range of white paints for indoor and outdoor use, open to vapor diffusion and which offer good adhesion on all mineral substrates but also on woodchip papers,
plasterboard or clay. Paints that allow walls to "breathe" and provide high coverage. Ideal for roller or brush application with high diffusion power. A range of pigmented colored wall paints, intended for interior use only and applicable to mineral substrates (plaster, concrete, limestone sandstone). Auro paints do not contain synthetic binders and dry residue can be composted.
