SALMON, designer and manufacturer of pumping systems for all industrial and water cycle markets, has just launched the new wheel Solid. Intended for submersible raw water lifting pumps, SALMON offers this high-performance solution which combines two advantages: that of traditional single-channel wheels with good efficiency and that of Vortex wheels which allow the passage of large volumes ofwaste. The design of the wheel Solidresponds to the new problem of the increase in the level of abrasion of wastewater, as well as the concentration of solids, a direct consequence of the reduction of water consumption. The original geometry of the wheel Solid features a design that frees it from the risks of clogging, as well as the risks of clogging, thanks to the presence of grooves between the suction and the discharge channel. This specific and perfectly symmetrical flow transports, without clogging, water loaded with solid bodies, reduces vibration phenomena, thus providing greater reliability and regularity of service. Other positive consequences offered by this new impeller Solid : a top energy efficiency (up to 81%) and a reduction in energy costs (up to -25% compared to the Vortex system).
