marketed since July 2017. The COMPRIBAND® Clamp is the essential accessory for preserving COMPRIBAND® rolls after opening. This clamp, signed TRAMICO, keeps the impregnated foam roll compressed, blocking its expansion and/or swelling. An essential tool for saving space on a construction site, the COMPRIBAND® Clamp ensures the proper preservation of rolls. It prevents the loss of impregnated foam from opened rolls, and allows professionals to maximize their time and efforts. Thanks to its manufacture of polyamide reinforced with fiberglass, the Clamp is very resistant. Another advantage is that it adapts to almost all COMPRIBAND® rolls, up to 33 mm wide. Applications of the COMPRIBAND® Forceps The clamp is suitable for all compressed or impregnated roll foams – COMPRIBAND® TRS and ULTIM'AIR, or foam joint backings such as ACRYLBAND or ADHECELL PC. COMPRIBAND® TRS and ULTIM'AIR ensure absolute watertightness and airtightness for exterior joinery. Waterproof and resistant to driving rain, they can be used in both new and renovation projects. Compliant with DTU 36.5, these impregnated foams are extremely effective for thermal and acoustic insulation. Compriband ULTIM'AIR is also specifically adapted to meet the requirements of low-energy or passive buildings, and offers the additional advantage of tunnel installation for all types of joinery. ACRYLBAND is specific to the two-stage waterproofing system and is often used to complete the waterproofing as a second barrier. It can be applied as a joint backing or expansion joint caulking, in a durable manner. ACRYLBAND is waterproof to driving rain of 300 Pa and is very easy to install. In the same spirit, the ADHECELL PC joint backer made of polyurethane foam with adhesive, is applicable for all exterior joinery (wood, PVC, aluminum, steel, etc.) for both heavy prefabrications and traditional masonry, as well as for light prefabrications (curtain walls, panel facades). Offering the same qualities of air sealing and acoustic and thermal insulation, this caulking joint is particularly popular for sealing formwork and preventing concrete laitance leaks. It also limits the depth of the sealing gasket or sealant and its self-adhesive side facilitates application.
