Three experts for very low-slope roofs
Clay roof tiles are resistant to weathering, UV rays, frost, and hail. They also improve a home's energy efficiency. Erlus offers robust clay roof tiles that are resistant to rainwater penetration, even for very low-pitched roofs. The Karat®, E58 RS®, and the new Level RS® roof tile are the three experts for designing a functional and durable roof. These tiles are made from natural clay, absorb moisture, and release it quickly.
Rain-resistant clay tiles for durable roofs
Rain-resistant tiles eliminate the need for a waterproof under-roof
Erlus's three expert tiles feature double or triple interlocking at the sides and top. This design allows for perfect water drainage along the tile's surface. It is no longer necessary to install additional waterproofing solutions, which are costly and cumbersome.
The sloping roof with terracotta tiles plus offers many advantages. It has a very good ecological balance, requires virtually no maintenance, is easy to install and resists rainwater penetration. In the case of a roof slope lower than the regulatory slope, the constraints imposed on the substructure increase. It is therefore advisable to refer to the installation instructions detailed in the documentation for each model for perfect roof functionality.
With fifty years of experience in roof tile design and manufacturing, Erlus has developed the E58 RS® and Level RS® models. Despite their different shapes and formats, these tiles share a common feature: a triple peripheral interlocking with wide and deep grooves. Water is channeled efficiently, and the tiles remain functional even when the roof slope is very low. Both models are rain-resistant and eliminate the need for additional waterproofing.
Finally, the new Level RS® model impresses with its design and functionality. It is distinguished by its clear, angular shape with a straight nose and triple side and head interlocking. Even with low-pitched roofs (minimum pitch of ten degrees), the substructure remains dry. This eliminates the need for additional, costly rain protection measures. The Level RS® tile is fired at 1 degrees and has a minimal water absorption coefficient.
