Tryba: 30 years of continuous growth and environmental commitment

Tryba celebrates 30 years of seamless development

From a small carpentry company with around fifteen employees founded in 1980, Tryba has grown to become a major player in the window and door renovation market in France, with 250 points of sale. In 2010, the Alsatian group celebrated its 30th anniversary and is looking to the future with "even more audacity," as it emphasized in its communication surrounding the event.

Tryba belongs to the Atrya group, which has sixteen production sites across Europe (twelve in France, two in Germany, one in Switzerland, and one in Belgium). The group ranks among the top five European companies in the manufacturing and distribution of PVC, wood, and aluminum joinery.
It owns a dozen brands (covering the entire retail, professional and trading market in France, Germany and Switzerland) including three franchise networks (Tryba, Isofrance Fenêtres and Tryba Solar in the field of renewable energies).

A CONSTANTLY GROWING TURNOVER
The Atrya Group has posted a constantly increasing turnover thanks to the external growth policy it has been pursuing for the past ten years. It rose from €305 million excluding VAT in 2008 to €320 million excluding VAT in 2009 (a 5% increase) and has set itself the objective of reaching €350 million excluding VAT by the end of 2010 (+9%). The workforce is made up of 1630 people, including approximately 600 at the head office in Gundershoffen.

A STRONG COMMITMENT TO RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
Since 2007, Tryba has been involved in the process of obtaining ISO 14001 certification, which attests to the control of the environmental impact of a company's activity and its desire to improve its ecological performance.
To obtain this certification, Tryba undertook extensive regulatory monitoring and implemented corrective actions such as installing a waste disposal center, reminding people of the rules for selective sorting, and creating new behavioral procedures. Thanks to this considerable work, Tryba obtained ISO 13 certification on May 2009, 14001.
To continue its work and launch new projects to benefit the environment, Tryba has created an "environmental committee".

2010, EVEN MORE AUDACITY
Firmly focused on the future, with a strong and united team, Tryba intends to continue its development in 2010. To celebrate its 30th anniversary, the brand is organizing engaging events throughout the year for its employees, its network of partners and its customers.
