Low slope tiles

Summary for decision-makers

IMERYS Toiture, now Edilians, announces that 12 of its tile models have obtained the new NF Low Slope certification, without the need to modify the installation gauges. Among these models, the highly curved tiles such as the OMEGA 10 Ste Foy and the MERIDIONALE Poudenx, as well as the slightly curved models such as the STANDARD 9 Jacob and the DELTA 10 Ste Foy, can be installed at slopes up to 19%, depending on the specifics of the site. Expanding its range, Edilians is also introducing the ALPHA 10 large-mould tile, which has a Technical Assessment for slopes up to 35%, attesting to the robustness and quality of its products.

As the leading French tile manufacturer, Edilians has obtained the Origine France Garantie label, underscoring its commitment to quality and local production. This strategic repositioning, accompanied by a change of shareholder, strengthens its market position, offering industry professionals reliable and high-performance solutions for roofing projects. The certified characteristics of Edilians tiles promise to meet the growing demands of modern construction sites.

IMERYS Toiture anticipated the effective elimination of low-slope DTAs by obtaining NF Low Slope certification for several of its tile models. This voluntary approach allows the leader in clay tiles to offer the widest range of low-slope tiles.

IMERYS Toiture offers the widest range of low-slope tiles

Today, 12 IMERYS Toiture tile models benefit from the new NF Low Slope certification, without any modification to the installation guidelines:

  • Strongly curved tiles: OMEGA 10 Ste Foy, PLEIN SUD Gélis, AQUITAINE Poudenx, MEDIANE Plus, MERIDIONALE Poudenx and ROMANE Sans,
  • Slightly curved tiles: STANDARD 9 Jacob, DELTA 10 Ste Foy, MARSEILLE Poudenx, PV 13 Huguenot, PANNE H2 and RHÔNA 10 (which also has a Very Low Slope DTA).

These tiles can be laid at up to a 19% slope depending on the characteristics of the site.

Finally, the low slope range from IMERYS Toiture includes the ALPHA 10 large-mould flat-profile tile, which has just obtained a Technical Opinion (no. 5.1/17-2538) for installation with a slope of up to 35% depending on the characteristics of the site.

Thanks to its 100% French tiles, IMERYS Toiture is the first French tile manufacturer to receive the Origine France Garantie label.
