TWIN PROFIL® - New back-to-back stud crimping pliers

This crimping clamp pierces and forms 2 folds allowing the rails and metal studs to be fixed together, without using screws or rivets.

FROM DUO PROFIL TO TWIN PROFIL®

Installing the doubled metal studs back to back provides structural reinforcement as well as a larger screwing surface when jointing between two plasterboards. To crimp back-to-back studs, EDMA Outillage invented the DUO PROFIL about ten years ago. This tool has the particularity of having an articulated jaw wide enough to effortlessly crimp back-to-back studs.

Always attentive to craftsmen, EDMA Outillage is launching the TWIN PROFIL® this year: a new back-to-back crimping tool that offers even easier use, in a single action, with a reduced footprint.

When the pliers arms are spread apart, the extra-wide jaw opens fully to easily fit between back-to-back doubled studs. Simply operate the arms to close the jaw, which crimps the studs together.

Thanks to its new ergonomics, the TWIN PROFIL® increases its performance in terms of time savings with minimal effort, which reflects the philosophy of EDMA Outillage tools.
