Philippe Raud, an Optimhome agent in Saint-André-de-Cubzac (Gironde), is participating in the Dakar Rally Raid for the ninth time. Having competed for two years on a Toyota KDJ 120, he was forced to retire in 2010, but finished 59th overall without penalties in 2009.

A competitor at heart, Philippe Raud is used to taking on challenges. Accompanied by his co-driver Guy Lefebvre, and assisted by Patrick Lardeau's Team Lardeau Competition (former head of the Toyota Competition division), he intends to once again push his limits and finish the Dakar in the best possible position.

Supported by 24 partners, 70% of whom are from Gironde, it will proudly uphold the values dear to Optimhome, which are courage, tenacity, a sense of effort and the appreciation of people.
