Designed by Houot Agencement, a specialist in creating food spaces and specialty food businesses, "Concept et Saveurs" is a new tea room located opposite the Haguenau market halls. A Zen-like setting, quality products, and an efficient team make this new dining venue a must-visit.

“Concept and Flavors” a new meeting place for gourmets

Named "Concept et Saveurs", the new "pastry-bakery-tea room" by Patricia and Francis Moritz, located opposite the Haguenau market hall, is the new meeting place for gourmets!

The third business of the Moritz couple (already owners of La boulangerie Francis and Jardin d'Apart Thé), this very original concept stands out from other local businesses operating in the food sector.

Led by the Vosges-based company Houot Agencement (member of the IGAE commercial layout group), the project was carried out with great attention to creativity and according to a tight schedule.

Business efficiency and user-friendliness

Starting from a blank page (an empty, new space where everything had to be invented, including the brand's graphics), the aim was to create a personalized point of sale, as only a professional designer can design it, to arrive at a harmonious composition capable of satisfying the multiple constraints of this type of business.
The Moritz couple therefore entrusted Houot Agencement with the mission of designing a store that harmoniously combines the commercial efficiency of a pastry shop and bakery with the conviviality of a tea room.

A “tunnel” volume

One of the original features of the premises is its rather narrow, tunnel-shaped volume. It is 15 meters long and 6 meters wide. It houses the sales area, the tea room itself, and the technical areas, mainly consisting of the bakehouse, at the back. The circulation areas have been designed to allow at least 6 people to work on site.

A serene decor

The overall aesthetic choice was to achieve a "serene" decor for a place dedicated to service and relaxation. From this were born spaces decorated with curves, intimate nooks, a large curved bench, tables and movable chairs capable of accommodating around thirty customers simultaneously.
This friendly retail approach is underscored by LED spotlights in cornices and the use of simple materials, where wood and stone blend with plant walls. On the pastry-bakery side, the products (particularly the breads) are presented in an art gallery style.

Short deadlines
The project was carried out by Houot Agencement in 5 months, from the first mandatory administrative procedures to the delivery of the site, including the detailed development of the project.

Whether it's for takeaway or as a tea room, "Concept et Saveurs" aims to become the essential meeting place for gourmets.

With around thirty indoor seats and, in fine weather, a terrace with 13 tables, the business is already running with 6 employees (3 people in sales and 3 others in the laboratory-bakery).

According to Patricia Moritz, "the aesthetic and ergonomic choices, the quality of the products and the service have already generated very positive feedback from customers."
