At their general meeting on June 27, 2013, the member representatives of Cochebat, the national union of manufacturers of heating components and integrated systems, elected their new president, office members and committee chairs:

President : Thierry Bedard (REHAU)

Vice-Presidents: Florent Kieffer (ACOME) and Benoit Smagghe (COMAP)

Treasurer: Marie-Hélène Lechat (EFEX)

Committee Chairs

Technical: Laurent Wiss (ROTH)

Promotion: Florent Kieffer (ACOME)

COCHEBAT's mission is to develop, supervise and promote surfaces (floor, wall, ceiling) heated/cooled by low-temperature water, as well as hydro distribution solutions (heating and sanitation) made from synthetic materials.

In July 2011, Cochebat launched the CERTITHERM quality mark, which aims to guarantee the quality and thermal performance of low-temperature heating/cooling systems. These guarantees allow systems approved for the mark to be reliably included in the calculation of the building's overall consumption, thereby meeting the requirements of RT 2012.

Created in 1984, the Cochebat professional union is now run by 13 manufacturers, representing around 80% of the market.
