UDIREV (Union of Flooring Distributors), the leading group of independent flooring distributors in France, is launching Prestige 2012, its new carpet collection to decorate all interiors. Developed by UDIREV's stylists and colorists, it offers a wide variety of textured and colored carpets in velvet (tufted, Saxony, loop pile, flatweave, etc.) and plant fibers (seagrass or sisal).

Whether the ambiance of the home is modern, classic or more original, there is sure to be a suitable Prestige 2012 product! Better still, it is possible to change the style of a room simply by adding a carpet and thus create a new atmosphere (trendy-chic, colorful, mysterious, cozy, sober or warm, etc.).

With a distinctly decorative focus, UDIREV also offers the option of custom-made rugs from a variety of styles: shag, flatweave, sisal, and seagrass. Ideal for dressing up a room with a hard floor, a rug allows you to change the ambiance as you please by adding a personal touch of color, softness, warmth, and comfort. It also helps improve sound and thermal insulation. The 2012 Prestige collection is complemented by a "Building 2012" range dedicated to professionals, which includes only high-traffic products certified by UPEC*.

VELVET AND PLANT FIBERS

The 2012 Prestige collection is rich in colors and textures through its velvet carpets (18 references) and plant fibers (6 references). The "velvet" collection includes tufted carpets (long pile, loop, cut, cut-plain and saxony), loop pile and flat woven. Each reference is available in several colors and in widths of 4 or 5 meters, to represent more than 260 different models. Made from virgin wool, polyamide and polypropylene, all carpets are guaranteed for 5 years for domestic use. The "plant fiber" carpets are woven from seagrass or sisal.

CARPET OR RUG? BOTH!

By launching its new collection, UDIREV is also innovating by offering the possibility of making custom-made rugs, braided or braided, from a selection of carpets, including two shags (Bologna and Cagliari), one flat-woven (Pescara) and two sisals (Nepal and Kampur). These rugs are presented as a quality alternative to traditional wall-to-wall carpeting. Indeed, in rooms with hard floors, such as parquet or tiles, a carpet rug adds a touch of comfort, softness and color, and allows the ambiance to evolve according to your desires. They thus become true decorative objects, as simple and quick to install as they are to remove! In addition, laying a carpet rug on a hard floor improves acoustic and thermal comfort (heat retention) therefore allowing energy savings.

THE CONFECTION WORKSHOP: A UDIREV EXCLUSIVE

The carpets are entirely made in the UDIREV workshop in Aulnay. A cotton braid or braid (plain/herringbone or chenille) is applied to the edge of the carpet section. Available sizes range from 0,60 x 1,40 m to 6,00 x 4,00 m. All carpets are made within a few days and delivered to customers' homes ready for installation!
