A BBC house at the Planet Energy Show

The energy savings and renewable energy exhibition is hosting the exclusive first event in the region, "My house for action."

Designed by the well-known science journalist Michel Chevalet, "My house to act" is a true BBC house of 80m².

Traveling, containing a particularly fun and educational didactic exhibition , "My house to act" aims to present to the public a "life-size" house, already meeting the 2012 standards for new construction and at a very reasonable price.

Timber frame, reinforced insulation, green roof, airtightness, double-flow ventilation system with heat recovery, condensing gas boiler with integrated hot water tank, solar panels for domestic hot water, photovoltaic panels for electricity production... The house presented for the first time exclusively in Lorraine , on the initiative of the General Council of the Vosges, proves that it is possible to reach BBC standards with common materials, careful implementation, for a cost between €1,200 and €1,500 per m².

Inside, "My home to take action" offers various quizzes in its furnished and equipped spaces, allowing visitors to test their knowledge : questions on water consumption in the kitchen, comparison of consumption between showering and bathing and possible savings in the bathroom, performance of different light bulbs in the living room...

In partnership with the Vosges General Council, the Planèt'Energy exhibition will be the preferred venue for "My house for action" from February 12 to 15.

In place from February 1st, it will welcome school groups until the opening of the show, benefiting from activities organized by the Espace Info Energie d'Epinal.
