A BBC house at the Planet Energy Show

The energy savings and renewable energy exhibition is hosting the exclusive first event in the region, "My house for action."

Conceived by the well-known science journalist Michel Chevalet, “My house for action” is a real BBC house of 80m².

Itinerant, containing a particularly fun and educational educational exhibition, "My house for action" aims to present to the public a "life-size" house, already meeting the 2012 standards for new construction and at a very reasonable price.

Timber frame, reinforced insulation, green roof, airtightness, double-flow ventilation system with heat recovery, condensing gas boiler with integrated hot water tank, solar panels for domestic hot water, photovoltaic panels for electricity production... The house presented exclusively in Lorraine, on the initiative of the Vosges General Council, proves that it is possible to achieve BBC standards with standard materials and careful implementation, for a cost of between €1 and €200 per m².

Inside, "My house for action" offers in its furnished and equipped spaces various quizzes allowing visitors to test their knowledge : questions about water consumption in the kitchen, comparing consumption between the shower and the bath and possible savings in the bathroom, performance of different light bulbs in the living room, etc.

In partnership with the Vosges General Council, the Planèt'Energy exhibition will be the preferred venue for "My house for action" from February 12 to 15.

In place from February 1st, it will welcome school groups until the opening of the show, benefiting from activities organized by the Espace Info Energie d'Epinal.
