To provide professionals with ever more innovative solutions that will make their daily work easier, increase their productivity and efficiency, Bosch is expanding its range of connected measuring instruments and launching a new measuring application for its laser distance meters at the end of this year. Owners of these Bosch connected tools can customize and configure their devices from the Bosch Toolbox smartphone application and can easily manage and archive their measurement results.

GLM 120 C rangefinder: an integrated camera for better visibility
Measuring lengths, areas, volumes and slopes is easier and more efficient with the Bosch GLM 120 C Professional connected laser distance meter. Ideal for painters, plasterers, facade specialists, landscapers or architects who want to measure indoors and outdoors, the GLM 120 C Professional is the first laser distance meter to integrate a camera and a digital aiming lens with zoom function. The user can quickly and easily see where the target is and can accurately aim at the measuring point, even in difficult lighting conditions, up to 120 m away. Thanks to the Bluetooth interface, the GLM 120 C Professional laser distance meter synchronizes with the measuring app, downloaded to the smartphone or tablet. The measured values can be transferred directly to the app and further processed. Archiving results and construction site information is easier. The user can store, transfer or share the measured data with colleagues, to perform material calculations, create quotes, adjust plans, etc.
Its intuitive interface with a selection wheel makes it easy to access functions, its 2,8" high-contrast, rotatable IPS color screen ensures easy reading of the displayed values in any position, and the camera offers a resolution of 5 MB.
Equipped with a 360° tilt sensor, it can measure slopes and act as a digital spirit level. For greater flexibility, a side measurement button allows you to activate or deactivate the rangefinder, making it easier to trigger measurements from any position. Finally, to avoid taking incorrect measurements from a wall corner, the tool features automatic measurement pin detection.

There is also the GLM 50 C connected rangefinder with a range of 50 m.

GTC 400 C thermal camera: optimal visualization of results
For many tradespeople, plumbers, heating engineers, electricians, etc., the thermal camera can detect a lack of water or a leak on radiators, boilers, under underfloor heating, detect overheated electrical outlets and fuses, locate thermal bridges in walls, avoid drilling into pipes or cables, etc. To get a quick and easy overview of weak points in installations, Bosch offers the GTC 400 C Professional connected thermal camera. This thermal imaging device offers better visibility of measurement results and a wide temperature range (from -10° to +400°). In addition, its connectivity allows you to measure and describe surface temperatures in detail, and transmit data with ease.
With its large 3,5-inch color display and a resolution of 160x120 with high screen sensitivity (50 mK), the GTC 400 C Professional offers optimal viewing of thermal images and provides a high level of detail. In addition to thermal images, it can simultaneously take photos of the installations to facilitate the allocation of measurements. Its large internal memory allows it to store up to 500 photos, save and display measurement results.
Thanks to connectivity, photos and data can be transferred either to the computer (via the microUSB port) or to a smartphone or tablet (via Bluetooth and the Bosch Measuring Master app).
Practical, the GTC 400 C Professional has on-board Wi-Fi to communicate at any time, regardless of location and site, to a tablet or smartphone.
Highly flexible, this device benefits from Dual Power which allows the camera to be powered either by a Bosch 12-volt Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery, compatible with the Bosch 12-volt professional tool range, or by 4 AA alkaline batteries with an AA1 Professional adapter.

GLL3-80 C/CG Line Lasers: Reliable, Flexible and Versatile Tools
The Bosch GLL 3-80 C Professional (red beam) and GLL 3-80 CG Professional (green beam) line lasers are more visible, highly accurate, more flexible and more reliable. Equipped with an intuitive keypad, mode selection and activation of the receiving cell mode are made easy. The GLL 3-80 C and CG Professional are self-leveling and guarantee a very high accuracy of ± 0.2 mm/m. Versatile, they allow both leveling applications thanks to the projection of 2 lines (vertical and horizontal) and squaring thanks to the third perpendicular line. Highly efficient, they scan the entire room and thus facilitate alignment, leveling and squaring work whether for layout, installation of false ceilings, partitions, tiling, rails, etc. The 3 360° lines of the GLL 3-80 C and CG Professional lasers are perfectly visible up to 30 m without a cell. For work over long distances, up to 80 m in diameter, the laser can be combined with the optional LR 6 (for red beam lasers) or LR7 (for red beam lasers and green beam lasers). The GLL 3-80 C Professional line laser has 3 360° red lines with powerful diodes, while the GLL 3-80 CG Professional has green beams with powerful diodes to offer 4 times more visibility compared to red.

These line lasers can be controlled remotely via a remote control or smartphone. Thanks to Bluetooth connectivity and the Bosch Levelling Remote app, the user can turn one or more of the 3 lines on or off to optimize the battery, adjust the intensity of the lines according to the brightness of the construction site to save battery power, rotate the device from left to right in 3 speeds thanks to the RM 3 motorized support (supplied separately) and be alerted to check the laser calibration.
The CAL Guard feature is also unique on the market. It constantly monitors whether external factors may have influenced the laser calibration, and a light signal on the laser and on the Bosch Levelling Remote app alerts the user. This app is available for free download from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store, and is also available via the Bosch Toolbox app.
Finally, for added flexibility, the GLL 3-80 C and CG Professional feature Dual Power. They are powered either by a 12-volt rechargeable lithium-ion battery from the professional range, compatible with all Bosch 12-volt tools, or by 4 non-rechargeable AA alkaline batteries with the AA1 Professional adapter.

GCL 2-50 C/CG Professional point and line lasers: increased precision
The Bosch GCL 2-50 C and CG Professional point and line lasers perform simple leveling at distances of up to 50 m. They are suitable for a wide range of indoor applications: transferring plumb points for electrical installations or marking reference points, for example, for placing drywall or electrical outlets. Proven features such as the tilt function for diagonal alignment have been retained, for example, for installing railings on stairs. When connected, they can be controlled via an app and a Bluetooth interface. The lines and plumb points of the Bosch GCL 2-50 C and CG Professional combination lasers can be activated and deactivated using the Bosch Leveling Remote app. Each device projects both a vertical and horizontal laser line on the wall, as well as a centered plumb point on the floor and ceiling. Control via the app ensures that settings cannot be accidentally changed when operating the device. In addition, the combination laser can be adjusted to hard-to-reach areas or where it is difficult to precisely adjust the tool's position. This makes work on construction sites faster and results more precise. Furthermore, with the app, users can adjust the brightness of the lines to make them more visible or to save battery power, view the battery charge status and the selected mode. The Bosch Leveling Remote app is available for free download from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store, and is available in the Bosch Toolbox app.

The RM 3 Professional motorized multifunction stand allows users to work more flexibly with combination lasers. Controlled via an app and combined with the RC 2 Professional infrared remote control, it helps craftsmen align the point and line laser to the millimeter at 3 different speeds, clockwise and counterclockwise. This also allows users working at a distance from the device or at height on a ladder to precisely control and adjust the settings remotely. Power is supplied automatically by the point and line laser's power source, as the laser is inserted into the stand. Both lasers are also available with the non-motorized RM 2 Professional stand, which provides manual alignment.

The GCL 2-50 C Professional projects red laser lines, while the GCL 2-50 CG Professional uses a green laser diode to project lines that are 4 times more visible, ideal for low-light work environments. This green laser diode is more powerful than devices that use a color conversion of red diodes to green light, more compact and has a longer lifespan due to its lower operating temperature.

Finally, the GCL 2-50 C/CG Professional features an intuitive keypad for ease of use and leveling accuracy of ±0,3 mm/m. They self-level in less than 4 seconds and compensate for surface irregularities up to ±4°. They are powered by a rechargeable 12-volt Lithium-Ion battery from the professional range, compatible with all Bosch professional 12-volt tools, or by 4 non-rechargeable AA alkaline batteries with the AA1 Professional adapter.

New measurement app: Process measurement data faster to save time
The new Bosch measurement app is easier and more intuitive to use. Based on the needs of its users, it allows for faster data processing, saves time, better organizes information gathering, provides greater flexibility, and allows for individual organization of information based on the job and project.
This new app supports all measurements from Bosch connected lasers (GLM 50 C and GLM 120 C), including measuring tools for DIY enthusiasts. The measured values can be easily transferred via Bluetooth. Thanks to digitalization, manual transfer errors, "mixed numbers," and illegible handwritten notes are now a thing of the past.
The new, intuitive measuring app combines everything on a single screen for faster and more efficient measurement data visualization. Thanks to a clearly organized menu, plans, measured values, images, notes, and comments can be added as easily as on a piece of paper. All information is digitally consolidated in a single app, without the need to collect data from different sources (notes, camera, etc.). Whether compiling offers, invoices, or material calculations, or visualizing and measuring rooms or projects, the new measuring app optimizes workflow, provides a structured overview of projects, and simplifies the sharing of information with third parties via messaging.

The new measurement app will be available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store later this year. New features will be added throughout 2020, such as linking measurements to hand-drawn sketches.
