Unilin Insulation insulates the floors of the 800 cottages in the new Center Parcs

Located north of Vienne and scheduled to open in early 2015, construction is in full swing on the fifth French Center Parcs. To insulate the floors of the resort's 800 timber-framed cottages, the project owner chose Utherm Floor insulation boards from Unilin Insulation, installed by the Vinet group.

In total, 47 Utherm Floor insulation boards, or 500 m58, will be installed in the estate's 406 cottages. They were chosen for their quick and easy installation and their thermal performance. The 2 mm thick boards fit together easily thanks to their "grooved and tongued" edges. Once installed, they are then covered with a screed and then tiles or flexible flooring, depending on the room's intended use.

Unilin Insulation's Utherm Floor insulation boards are suitable for insulating floors and floors in both new and renovated buildings. They have a thermal performance of 0,023 W/(mK) and are rated A+ (very low emission) for volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
