Viessmann Climate Solutions once again demonstrates its innovative spirit with a number of solutions that, as always, combine high performance and respect for the environment. The 2024 new products include a range of heat pump solutions (adapted to each configuration), two new gas condensing boilers (one for residential use, the other for collective and tertiary use), as well as a thermodynamic tank made in France and a remote control that ensures control that is as simple to install and use as it is synonymous with energy savings.

Vitocal 250-A and 252-A air/water heat pumps, a perfect range extension for new builds and high-performance renovations

This new generation of heat pumps boasts many advantages: reliable, compact, more ecological than ever, they are available in a power range from 4 to 19 kW in order to ideally meet all configurations, whether for new construction or renovation. Note that they use the R290 (propane) refrigerant fluid recognized as particularly ecological and that they have an extremely low PRGA00 (global warming potential over 100 years of 0,02. 60%). More compact than competitors on the market, they also operate with the patented Hydro AutoControl hydraulic system, guaranteeing optimal reliability throughout their entire lifespan.

With a flow temperature of 70°C, they are the ideal solution for renovating old installations with performance coefficients of up to 5,37 for heating (up to 10,54 performance in cooling mode), with guaranteed comfort for both heating and cooling in both winter and summer. Finally, it should be noted that they are available in a heating-only or dual-service version to also ensure high comfort in preparing domestic hot water. Vitocal 250-A PRO: the air/water heat pump for collective and tertiary buildings

Providing heating, cooling and domestic hot water production, this monobloc air/water heat pump range has a heating capacity of 39,5 kW and a cooling capacity of 26 kW, making it ideal for both collective and tertiary buildings (possibility of cascading up to two units for higher capacities with only one indoor unit required). It stands out for its efficiency and the silence of its outdoor unit. The indoor unit of the Vitocal 250-A PRO offers numerous functions. It controls up to three mixed heating and cooling circuits and a seasonal buffer tank. Domestic hot water can be produced via a charging system (external plate exchanger) or by a coil immersed in the DHW tank. Instead of a domestic hot water tank, it is also possible to use the Vitotrans 353 instantaneous DHW tank (which produces domestic hot water from the heat stored in the primary water tank). It should be noted that it uses the R290 refrigerant and that it is also possible to integrate an external backup to cover the peak load.

With a maximum flow temperature of 70°C, the Vitocal 250-A PRO is rated A+++/A++ and has a low sound power level for its outdoor unit (60,9 dB(A) in low noise operation and 69,8 maximum). Recommended retail price from 37 euros excluding VAT, excluding accessories, installation and commissioning.

Vitodens classic gas condensing boiler, a very attractive price-quality ratio for the business market (real estate development, social housing, etc.)

Boasting an annual overall efficiency of 98% PCS, energy efficiency class A, the Vitodens classic is available in a power range of 5 to 25 kW (modulation range of 1/5). This new reference also guarantees high comfort in domestic hot water thanks to its power of 28 kW, all in a minimum of space thanks to its micro-accumulation. Available in a dual service micro-accumulation version, it perfectly meets the needs of collective housing with, as always, the high Viessmann quality, the result of extensive expertise in condensation. Easily integrated into the home, note that its installation and maintenance are simplified thanks to the connections easily accessible from the front and that it will stand out for its reliability and longevity. Equipped with the MatriX-Plus burner, it guarantees, in addition to high efficiency, particularly low pollutant and noise emissions. In terms of operation, the heating and domestic hot water temperatures can be quickly set using user-friendly push buttons, and the operating status and temperatures are displayed on the digital display (remote control optional).

Vitocal 262-A thermodynamic flask

This new Viessmann solution, manufactured in Faulquemont (57), uses free energy from the air, indoors or outdoors (from -10°C to +42°C), to produce domestic hot water, in addition or not to a heating generator, for example an air/water heat pump, an oil, gas or biomass boiler. It should be noted that it is available in three variants. The hybrid (type T2H, with heat exchanger), replacing an existing DHW tank, but also in an electric version (type T2E) which will be preferred as a replacement for an electric water heater or as a complement to a heat pump dedicated to heating, but also in a wall-mounted variant (type T2W), in combination with a DHW tank, a combined tank or a primary tank. Equipped with an integrated 300 l tank, this thermodynamic tank can be installed in place of a traditional DHW tank. It should be noted that its operation will also be optimized in a laundry room or a technical room, places in which a large quantity of heat is produced and available. It should also be noted that the Vitocal 262-A has a coefficient of performance of up to 4 on ambient air (up to 3,39 on outside air), guaranteeing low operating costs combined with great DHW comfort. It also boasts quiet operation thanks to low noise emissions (ranging from 53 dB to 47 dB depending on the model). With an energy class of A+ or A++, the Vitocal 262-A protects the environment thanks to its natural refrigerant R290 (Climate Protect+++) which ensures a flow temperature of 65°C down to -10°C, thus considerably reducing the use of the electric heating system.

Optimized for self-consumption of electricity produced by a photovoltaic installation, it is eligible for financial aid. While monitoring the condition of the protective anode is simply carried out by the Viessmann control system, its commissioning by the installer is guided by ViGuide, which also allows remote monitoring. Finally, it should be noted that its control is very simple, since it is operated via the ViCare application. Vitocal 060-A thermodynamic flask

In order to provide a complementary solution to the thermodynamic tank offer, the range will be completed at the end of the year with the new generation of the 060-A range. This new evolution will find the variations of the previous generation, that is to say, the 180 and 250 l tanks, but with a completely new design and, above all, a new R290 air and refrigeration circuit allowing it to combine respect for the environment and performance. Connectivity will of course be standard for both user and professional control, in order to always benefit from a product at the top of its performance.

Vitotrol 100-EH remote control

The Vitotrol 100-EH allows the heat pump to be controlled from any living space. Easy to install since it requires no cables thanks to its (encrypted) radio technology, the Vitotrol 100-EH remote control, powered by batteries (type AA, 2 x 1,5 V) offers a modern and timeless design. It has a bright screen to display the room temperature, outside temperature, time and the operating states of the heat pump. It also allows you to control the heating/cooling circuit according to the outside temperature, such as DHW preparation since it is possible to connect several Vitotrol 100-EHs (one per circuit). CEE compatible, it offers the possibility of creating a time schedule for heating such as DHW but also of automatic software updates via the internet. It can manage a comfort mode, a vacation program, a vacation at home program or even an absence mode. Finally, eligible for financial aid, Vitotrol is marketed at the indicative public price of 249 euros excluding tax. 

Vitocrossal 300 CI3 condensing boiler

This new compact and economical gas condensing boiler is designed for heating and domestic hot water production in apartment buildings, the tertiary sector and communities. The Vitocrossal 300 CI3 boasts great ease of installation, thanks in particular to its 75 cm width, its integrated casters and its transport pallet with integrated ramp. With its small footprint (0,75 to 1,07 m2), the Vitocrossal 300 CI3 boiler will also be ideal for renovations in buildings with cramped boiler rooms. Delivered pre-assembled and factory-tested, the Vitocrossal CI3 is available in eight power outputs (80, 115, 160, 240, 320, 480, 560 and 640 kW) and also offers cascade operation, up to 8 boilers, capable of generating power up to 5.120 kW. Equipped with the MatriX cylindrical burner, which guarantees combustion with low pollutant emissions, the Vitocrossal CI3 has a wide modulation range that can go beyond 1:10 depending on the model, for prolonged and sustainable operation. It should also be noted that the self-calibrating O2 sensor automatically regulates combustion on different types of gas (natural, propane, mixture containing up to 20% hydrogen). Equipped with the new Inox-Crossal heat exchanger, made of high-quality stainless steel, synonymous with high operational reliability and a long service life, the Vitocrossal CI3 has a high standard efficiency.

Finally, let us point out that the Vitocrossal CI3 is integrated into the Viessmann One Base platform, guaranteeing simple and intuitive commissioning via ViGuide mobile and also allowing remote monitoring by a professional (via smartphone or tablet), as well as optimization of parameters, not to mention that maintenance to be carried out will be reported in time.
