Visign for Style sensitive: the new toilet flush plate from Viega

In terms of style, Visign for Style sensitive impresses with its refined finish: dark black combined with a discreet light gray. In terms of technology, Viega relies on an electronic control system that has already proven itself in the range. The award of the Design Plus powered by ISH 2017 quality seal and the internationally renowned iF award already underline the high design and innovation quality of the new Visign for Style sensitive line. 

Viega's Visign for Style range of toilet flush plates was designed specifically for modern bathrooms and semi-public sanitary facilities. It ensures high user comfort, exemplary reliability, and adds a touch of modern style to the toilet. The new Visign for Style sensitive line continues these requirements by offering a highly hygienic, touchless actuation. Simply wave your hand in front of the graphically highlighted area to activate the dual-flush function. The larger area represents the full flush volume, while the smaller area symbolizes the reduced, more water-efficient volume.

An innovative and intuitive graphic solution

In collaboration with Artefakt Design (Darmstadt, Germany), Viega developed graphic elements that perfectly represent the contactless operation of this new toilet flush plate. Referring to the pixelated design currently found in many areas, an original cloud-shaped graphic solution was created. To maintain the lightness of the design, the diameter of the individual pixels gradually decreases towards the outside until they practically disappear. In this way, the functional attributes blend naturally into the design. The low wall thickness of only seven millimeters further underlines the modern appearance.

Phosphorescent lighting in the dark

This cloud of light gray pixels, however, is not only appealing as an innovative graphic element. Its subtle green glow also serves as lighting for better orientation in the dark. This phosphorescent effect comes from a persistent paint used in the watchmaking industry. The paint is constantly recharged by both daylight and artificial lighting. 

A system equipped with proven technology

Electronic technology is combined with a maintenance-free, wear-free control cable. Power can be supplied via mains electricity or, for example during renovations, via battery. Installation of Visign for Style sensitive is carried out in the same way as for Viega's standard toilet flush plates. As usual, flush mounting is also possible.

Visign for Style sensitive can be added to all Viega cisterns manufactured after 1999.
