There are many sources of indoor air pollution. Various human activities, animals, construction and decoration materials, etc. generate volatile organic compounds (VOCs), among other things, which are dangerous for the health of residents and the preservation of the building. Advances in sealing and insulation made in construction over the years have made air renewal in enclosed spaces all the more necessary. AUTOGYRE, a specialist in air treatment and ventilation for 65 years, is launching two new single-block Double Flow CMVs with integrated bypass: TWIN'AIR DF 70 and TWIN'AIR DF 70PLUS with humidity detection. Designed and manufactured in France, these all-in-one systems improve indoor air and thermal comfort, while retaining heat in winter and coolness in summer. With an efficiency of 70%, they limit energy losses and allow for savings of up to 14% on heating bills.

DOUBLE FLOW CMV: Operating principle

The Double Flow CMV is a motorized extraction and insufflation system with heat exchange between stale air and fresh air. It allows polluted air to be expelled to the outside and incoming air to be filtered.

The incoming air does not mix with the stale air but recovers the energy by passing through the heat exchanger in which the two flows intersect. Then tempered, this sanitized air is distributed into the main rooms by the supply vents via the compact distribution box.

Compact Double Flow CMV

The TWIN'AIR DF 70 and TWIN'AIR DF 70PLUS AUTOGYRE self-regulating CMVs are designed for new or renovated homes from 2 to 7 main rooms equipped with a kitchen and up to 4 bathrooms.

Monobloc and compact, they are space-saving. They are also quieter (< 35 dB(A)) because they eliminate air inlets at the front and prevent drafts.

Energy savings

The heat exchanger recovers up to 70% of the calories contained in the extracted air and allows to achieve a saving of 14% on the annual heating bill. Equipped with 2 speeds, the TWIN'AIR VMCs adapt to your exact needs.

Optimized thermal comfort thanks to the bypass

The TWIN'AIR DF 70/TWIN'AIR DF 70PLUS have a bypass. When activated, this equipment diverts fresh air to blow it directly into the home. This reduces heat exchange and the incoming air continues to be filtered so that it can cool the indoor air in summer when the outside temperature is lower than that of the home.

The bypass can also recover mid-season outside heat by blowing in hot air inwards after being filtered. It contributes to comfort by reducing the thermal amplitude between interior and exterior.

The VMC TWIN'AIR DF 70 is equipped with a manual bypass (controlled by pilot switch).

The VMC TWIN'AIR DF 70PLUS has an automatic bypass with control switch and a humidity detection function with Hygrostat at 75% RH (relative humidity) which automatically triggers high speed.

Easy filter maintenance and management

Equipped with G4 filtration for stale air, TWIN'AIR VMCs protect the exchanger from dust and dirt, which guarantees the performance and longevity of the installation. Reinforced filtration class M5 incoming air eliminates mold, allergens, medium particles and bacteria.

In addition, a warning light, located on the wireless filter management box, alerts the user when the extraction and insufflation filters need to be replaced.
