Warema at BAU 2017
Summary for decision-makers
Manufacturer Warema has presented three new innovative sun protection solutions. The ProVisio external blind allows you to enjoy a view while being protected from glare and prying eyes thanks to the differentiated inclination of its slats. The ZIP-guided corner window blind guarantees complete and efficient protection of glass surfaces without the need for additional guides, thanks to its guide system. Finally, the WMS temperature sensor allows the blinds to be adjusted in real time to the desired temperature, thus saving energy. These innovative solutions offer optimal comfort and great flexibility of use for both commercial and private customers.
Warema, the European market leader in technical sun protection products, will be showcasing its flagship products at the BAU trade fair in Munich from 16 to 21 January 2017 (Hall C1 - Stand 538). With its tailor-made sun protection solutions, the manufacturer contributes to energy efficiency and the value of real estate.
New products for effective sun protection
New ProVisio adjustable solar shading
The new adjustable sunshade Warema's ProVisio combines optimal outward visibility with effective glare protection, while maintaining privacy. This is a real plus for comfort. The product differs from standard sun blinds by its slats being angled differently relative to a human's viewing angle. This allows approximately 80 percent of the outward view to be maintained. Users thus benefit from all the advantages, such as warmth, privacy protection, and glare protection, while maintaining a good view of the outdoors.
ZIP-guided corner window blind
The new ZIP-guided sun protection blind for corner windows (90° angle) guarantees complete and efficient shading. The glass surfaces were previously protected from the sun independently of each other by various elements including guide rails. This new system, directly connected at an angle to the box and the load bar, no longer requires an additional guide rail and its ZIP system guarantees high wind stability. A single motor lowers or raises both fabrics simultaneously for uniform shading of both glass surfaces.
This solution, as well as the powder-coated aluminum parts available in a wide variety of colors, allows discreet integration on the facades of buildings. The new ZIP-guided window blind is perfectly adapted to the Solarlux Atrium terrace roof with its recessed posts.
New WMS temperature sensor
The new WMS temperature sensor makes it easy to adjust sun protection systems. Seamlessly integrated into the WMS (Warema Mobile System) network, the sensor measures the room temperature and transmits it to the network in real time. Depending on the desired temperature, set using a rotary knob, the blinds automatically adjust, saving heating energy in winter and effectively protecting the home from the heat in summer. The battery-powered sensor is easy to install.
The temperature sensor is an essential tool in a modern home automation system. It can be combined with the WMS WebControl system, allowing control from a smartphone. Another advantage is that the WMS temperature sensor can communicate with multiple receivers simultaneously, thus controlling several sun protection products. Settings can be defined and saved independently for each receiver.
